Just bought 2011 E63, had a couple quick questions
Just bought my e63 and am in total love with the car.
1. I have the door handles for keyless-go, but not the button inside. Is this normal? Am I not finding the button or doing it right? haha
2. My attention assist says "inoperable" in the center dash screen when I go into it's menu. Any way to reset it or get it working?
3. any must-have tips for this car?
Thanks!!

1. Keyless go Button is removable. if your car did not come with one you can order one from your dealer or take a chance on one from ebay.
2. Get dealer to run a diagnostic. something is not working right.
3. Pay attention to your brake wear. Brake rotors are at least 800.00 each. Get transmission serviced every 40,000 miles. Use only 0-40w mobile 1 euro formula or other first quality synthetic oils approved for the amg engine. 5w30 and 5w40 oils are not recommended for the amg engine. VIP for amg 6.3= ONLY use OEM Mercedes oil
filter. Get brake fluid flushed per maint. schedule. And last Don't skip any maintenance listed in the manit. schedule or it will cost you dearly later.

Welcome. I'm really going to miss the naturally aspirated engine when I trade in before the warranty runs out. Maybe I should jump into the last '11 E63 that rolls off the assembly line.

Because repairs to high end performance luxury cars are very expensive and too many people buy these cars used and then cannot afford to have repairs and maintenance done. And many repairs can only be done with expensive diagnostic equipment and specialty tools that only experienced techs at indie shops and dealers will have on hand. I look at it from the point of view that I save $60,000.00 on a 100,000.00 car and if I spend 20,000.00 in repairs I have still saved 40,000.00.
car=40k +repairs of 20k = 60,000.00.
some repairs may cost the following.
Transmission service=400.00
front brake rotor and pads = 2000.00
one Alignment =100.00 to 150.00
car=40k +repairs of 20k = 60,000.00.

I understand the maintenance on this type of car. I expected it going into it.
Anything I should watch out for as far as the headbolt issue? Any signs that it's starting?
Anything to help prevent it?
I'm also thinking about having the resonators removed from the exhaust. No cats or anything. I just want it slightly bit louder under power is all. Recommended?
Thanks!

Nothing you can do to know if the head of the bolt is about to snap off. You don't know when it is ever going to happen or if it will ever happen. Sure, you can get the old bolts swapped out for correct ones to solve the issue. However, it wouldn't be cheap to do so.
