RENNtech T-304 stainless steel (SS) sport mufflers are hand made and rigorously tested to remove any unwanted resonances in the cabin to deliver a deep sound that keeps with the character of a luxury performance vehicle.
Renntech mufflers with 2 3/4 inch diameter tubing offer lighter weight than the stock exhaust and improve performance by reducing exhaust back pressure, increasing exhaust gas flow and cylinder scavenging.
I just put them on my 2015 E63 S yesterday but the car is still waiting for the ECU to return from its full tuning at Renntech (actually Fed Ex misshipped it so it will only arrive at Renntech tomorrow).

It's going to be hard for him to comment on power gains as he's doing several mods at the same time and I doubt he's doing a pre and post dyno after each mod

True. I drove the car stock for one day and then brought it in to MB of Rockville Centre for the Renntech full tune and Renntech sport mufflers.

The sport mufflers are terrific. Their sound is a low bellow that is louder and more aggressive than stock. With them on the car sounds like a 1969s American muscle car. Worth every penny. Love them.

I'm on the fence for those as I want something deeper and louder than stock but i live in a quiet neighborhood and do not want something obnoxious. How much louder than stock would you say these are ? 20%, 30, 50 ?

They are much louder than stock. At least 30 percent louder. They are a lot smaller than the OEM mufflers with a lot less sound deadening material. If you want your E63 S to really sound like an American muscle car then they are for you.
For almost the same money I can get the Renntech ECU upgrade. (just worried about warranty issues)
Two totally different products. I have both. The Renntech ECU tune is about maximum power. With just that full tune alone the car goes from 570 bhp and 590 lbs ft to 701 bhp and 839 lbs ft of torque. The tune turns the car from a fast sedan to an absolute animal. The car with tune and mufflers feels much more powerful and brutal than my 991 TTS. Straight line acceleration is about the same in terms of quarter mile ET.
The Renntech sport mufflers are about the sound. They make the car a lot louder and deeper sounding than stock. You do get a decent gain in power (plus 15 bhp and 20 lbs ft) but the mod is more about the sound than the power.
could you put up a photo of rear view with sport mufflers fitted please?
I didn't take a photo on the lift as I was not there during installation. Once installed you would not know the difference as they fit to the OEM exhaust tips. You would need to put the car on the lift to see the difference. The Renntech sport mufflers are a lot smaller and lighter than the stock mufflers.
