Throttle lag from stop is annoying....
Damn wet clutch

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
And yes it is bad when you are on a round about (intersection for you guys) and the car just sits there.., when you give it gas...give more gas then its just a sudden

I have not tried it, but I would assume since the car mimics manuals, manually selecting gears and selecting the right one, might resolve it.
Thing is I can not replicate it. Just seems to happen from time to time when going in stop and go traffic and when you come to a stop or slow down, then accelerating again
Not a "problem" or an "issue"
...just an unfavorable trait

I do have a 2015 E400 bi-turbo, and the car exhibits these exact same traits. It is especially bad when going very slow (like coming up to a stop) and then giving it gas. It sort of feels like an old-time carburetor car with a bad accelerator pump. It just "tips in" and does nothing, but then a couple of seconds later, goes like crazy. I find that if I let up on the throttle and then get back onto it, it runs fairly normally.
Oh, well. . . at least I know it isn't me or something uniquely wrong with my car. I'm in good company.
Sdg has a full renntech tune and no improvement in this throttle lag or take off issue
Amplifies throttle signal during initial pedal travel and then merges back to stock signal post 75% pedal travel from start.
