Pre Owned '14' Pricing
So, what do the experts think a decent used 2014 E63 can be had for? I've been watching the Trader and there aren't that many available. I suspect that many will be coming off leases soon and selection will improve and prices will go down a bit.
Anyone getting ready to trade yours in might want to contact me as I'm a cash buyer at wholesale or trade in value.
Hertz has used e63 non S available for about $70-75k
Tune THAT engine and it'll be as strong as a tuned e63S engine but you're like me... You want warranty coverage
Maybe next time around I'll do CPO/new, but for now this let me get into the 2014 E63 at a price I liked.
Really happy so far. I haven't done a tune, per Peter's point to make it S comparable, and the car is still tons of fun to drive. A little too fun sometimes.
The car itself is great and I think an excellent replacement for an E55 as your going into another torque monster, only with more power, more torque, and more traction

Nice find ... Was the car in good shape?

That Edmunds link is entertaining, gotta love the broken piggy bank. Multiply everything in that page by x4 to get to E63S numbers

Although, while my E63 was meant to be only a daily driver (I historically don't track/race cars), it's capable of so much more, that now I'm researching tracks in the area to go really have fun at.
And if that becomes a habit, then I might end up with a tune. But we'll see.
Yeah. Everything engine/transmission/etc. wise is great. I've had two issues:
1) A few minor exterior scrapes, but most are only noticeable when I'm cleaning the car, and getting very up close to everything. This was expected though, and not a big deal. I heard about the CQuartz via one of sdg's threads, so will get all that touched up if/when I get around to it.
2) Slightly more "wtf" was that the tech at my local dealer (I bought the car out of state, had it shipped in) noticed my bumper's been painted. Which did not show up on the car fax. Thankfully nothing is wrong structurally/etc., just two broken plastic clips where it attaches to the radiator. But still a bit of a scare.
All said, I have zero regrets. It's 3 months later, and I still annoy my wife by randomly interjecting "I really like my car" into daily conversation.

Anone want to sell their E63?
It would likely cost about $10k more for similar miles
