The P30 is a tune, this is a different tune. Whether Renntech, Eurocode, or another company's tune, the P30 is not additive to the revised tune. You end up at the same WHP regardless of the starting point. You are just changing software.

Why is it that a stock 5.5tt vs P30 on a tune comes with the same numbers when the numbers are different coming from the factory without any aftermarket tunes?
I know if the dealer servicing a tune AMG will void the warranty especially with a engine, exhaust or transmission tune, but I also heard lowering any Mercedes will void the suspension warranty, but my 2011 E350 is lowered with 20" Vossen after market wheels and whenever I visit my MB dealer around my area. All was said by the service adviser is that my car looks great with the wheels.
Can you guys tell me which ECU tune can be turn on or off with a flick of a switch and during service. The dealer can't notice the tune ?

I'm hearing that the Rebellion Automotive tune is not detectable, as it is technically a piggyback device. That said, the ECU does store some info regardless, not sure how this tune would get around that.
If Benz is faced with a $15,000 warranty bill for a major engine issue ... I would think it be prudent to scan the ecu for mods and find any opportunity to decline the payment.

Rebellion is the only one Im aware of that is "plug n play" - EC, would love it if yours was too, so correct me if I'm wrong!
For the record, if AMG wants to know you were tuned, they can find out, whether its a piggyback, a flash, a full tune, so on and so forth....either way, if they want to find out, they can. No ifs ands or buts.
I'm thinking that if you're in for warranty repair of your window motor switch or your heating element on your rear windshield the dealership won't care if you have a tune or work to find out. But if your engine blows up for overheats you bet they're going to try and find out if you have a tune, especially if it's going to cost Mercedes-Benz $20,000 to fix.
