Car running rough with some loss of "pep"
14 e63s with Dp and tune
Got a misfire for cyl 5 after it was really running like shiat. Had all plugs changed. Now car feels sluggish and feels like it breaks up up top. I can feel the slightest vibration when giving light throttle under load. No cels.
Thoughts ?
some had the spark plug melt/ crack and a piece fall into the engine. Again nothing has been mentioned on this topic of a while. Ali had it happen to him on the cls63 form along with a few others
If you find out would appreciate let us know so we can avoid any mishaps
Pull them out one for one and take a look at them.
Make sure they are all the same color / burnt evenly (you can actually smell them as well)
Yea - give them the old sniffy test.
When you replaced them you should have cone one point cooler, this will stop if from melting as well.
I heard the 2015's do require a cooler plug but not sure about the 2014's.
Let us know how it goes,

That said I've been tuned for almost 10k miles with no issues related to the spark plugs, and 6k of that being in the last three weeks on the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour where the car went on the dyno for several pulls (601hp/713tq, 605hp/733tq, 591hp/726tq), was auto crossed for an entire day, ran at two drag strips (in two separate hot and humid cities), and had some high speed testing done along side a supercharged G8 GXP
