If I were to keep my car until after the elw expires, I would do it for sure since the car would then be relegated to fun only and low miles.

For my money, I will wait for the 2017 or 18 that is rumored to be over 600 hp. I can live with that and its warranty.

The best solution though is:

A programmer that you can plug into your OBDII jack under the dash and turn the ECU tune off and on. I think RenTech makes something like this actually. With this solution you can just return the ECU to factory settings before you take it to the dealer for repairs.

Tuners dont like this method a lot because they cant control you from tuning other cars and side stepping them.
