I got samples from a number of wrap manufacturers looking for something that was a good match to the stock Benz CF interior. I found the 3M 1080 wrap to be the best.

i ordered the samples, on their website it says that this is real 6k carbon weave that is clear coated, i hope it arrives soon and i can take it to my installer to see if they like it-just need to make sure it will not ruin the burl wood-i did talk to renntech and they will do it, very costly and i would need to send all the interior trim pieces to them for 3 weeks
at that point i might as well buy from MB

Reviews are all positve for the company kevtec-info says it useds all OEM mercedes parts for 1300 plus shipping for the entire kit is a great price? Thoughts anyone?

ok just received some news from DB carbon-german company
they use OEM MB parts and lay their carbon fiber on the parts like factory and you would remove your wood trim and install the carbon fiber trim.
i sent one last email to confirm just to make sure of the fit and finish
group buy?
can i say the price on a post?
this would be for the dashboard-2 pieces and the doors (4)

More Info-Db Carbon sounds legit, just got a price from a local shop in NY that deals with another carbon company and they wanted 6500 plus exchange my wood trim
db carbon will get used parts from cars crashed cars or people who've exchanged their trim
costs for 6 pieces 2100 plus DHL
best price by far and its real AMG carbon fiber

Any place I called were 4k or more
2100 is real AMG carbon fiber using OEM MB parts. Used trim of course from other cars so the fit and finish is factory
Any other places less than that

Just because the option was about $2100 doesn't mean that he isn't going to pay out the bottom because he didn't decide to get that option at the time

The car came with Burl Wood, i could not turn down an almost 18k reduction on a brand new car-so in the end spending 2k or 2800 would be worth it. Another thing is that yes Burl or the dark wood is standard right, but its not free, i am sure it is at least a 2k or 3k cost in the price of the car, if you opted for the carbon fiber and spent the extra 2850 the REAL total cost of the carbon fiber is closer to 5500 since they are crediting the wood trim
i think 2100 is an excellent price since i already called MB and they want close to 6k and another place wants 5k

DB Carbon will need to know by next weeks production run so they will have it shipped on Feb 26th
I am serioulsy considering it if i cant find something local in the next few days (decently priced)

What about MAcarbon oCarbon? they are forum sponsors . I know lots of guys making it in Russia for very cheap ( considering currency right now ) but shipping will be problem. For example front spoiler cost 450$
