I use P21 S polishing soap. It works great for me but there are plenty of options out there.

Oh ya, one thing about the pre 2012 e63amgs is they sound much better, they are a very solid and well built car and you don't have to worry about turbos going out on you. That's one fear I have if I end up keeping my car over 3 more years when the warrantee runs out is that I fry a turbo to the tune of 8 to 10 grand. Good luck with the car, I hope it works out well for you.

Absolutely loving this thing. It has 285/25/20's in the back and 265/45/20 (dont hold me on that front size). Anything a tad bigger i could get away with? i feel like these are very prone to potholes ha. Don't have any great pictures, it's dark when i get off work every day.
Little bit of wear on the side of the console

Well I already told you you have stretched tires therefore not really pothole friendly. Now it is difficult to tell what will work or not on your car since we don't know the exact width and offset of the replica wheels. But I bet you if you try to go bigger in the back you'll probably rub based on your pictures.
265/30/20 might be possible in the front. Again pure speculation. Did you check if you have spacers or not?
As for the center console this is normal wear and tear. Mine was doing this also on the 09 C63 sedan. You have a few options. Wrap it, get it CF'ed or buy a spare part and replace it. No big deal. Enjoy!

I believe it does not have spacers. The guy left all his contacts stored, trying to find him and contact him to ask about the car a little

I used Barkeeper's friend for the exhaust tips. That little wear on the center console is no biggie, but I always wonder how that location gets worn. Personally, I like 18" wheels due to better at handling potholes and also more tire sizes available, especially hard-core winter tires.

Rolled over the first 1,000 miles with the car last night. I can't get over this thing haha. I've never owned anything of this caliber. My Denali supposedly had 406 hp, so this thing is an absolute beast to me.
I found out, the owner was a huge car enthusiast. Has some Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and other exotics. This was his daily driver. He prepaid 100,000 miles of service the day he got the car and got a 60% discount. SO that was great to find out, the car has been taken care of. The gas mileage on this thing is AWESOME too compared to my Denali. When i was in school, and driving the Denali 100 +/- miles a day, i would have to put $75 in the tank every other day. It was insane. Highway mileage was around 15 if you were light on it, city was about 11/12. So even though this car gets bad mileage for a CAR, it great in my opinion, especially with this much power.
I may just keep these wheels (for now at least), and put a small spacer on to push them out a tad. WHat should fit? Also, i plan on tinting everything including the windshield but have yet to find a place i trust with tinting it. Want to do 15% on all windows and 40% on the windshield. Will be ordering the door pins from JB Speed soon as well, just need to figure out how to get mine out ha.
One more question. The service manager mentioned something about draining the A/C condensation so it doesnt build up? Where would one find this said drain?

if you are concerned about UV, there are clear or very light tint that will do as much to reduce UV exposure than cheap dark tint, and they won't impact outward visibility.
smarten up.

lol! We usually don't buy an AMG for its mpg! But don't fool yourself whenever you'll stomp on it it will drink!!
As for the spacer I think the minimum I know of is 5mm.
To access the door pin you'll need to pop out the trim. Easy to do but take your time. I don't know if on the E63 the pins are glued or screwed
I would say for the AC drain to check in the engine bay on the driver side.

I can't even think about the liability of getting into an accident with a tinted windshield. If you're in an accident and someone gets hurt, you can bet they will go after you. Especially if you are driving a 500+hp $100k car. I imagine a both a criminal and civil suit would be real possibilities. Definitely not worth it.

I've always tinted my windshield on my past vehicles, but not even really to a point where it is extremely noticeable.. I may just do a strip across the top of the windshield to help with the sun. Again, no where in town does quality ceramic tint. It's even hard to find a place that will get you tint that won't fade on you... and im definitely not putting that in this car.
I saw where one guy unscrewed his door pins, i tried (not very hard, didn't want to break them) but i could not get them out. I will check the engine bay here in a second.

yeah i think ill hold off esp with the type of people where i live. Sue sue sue. I have to be very cautious as it is driving this car around. Will probably just get a strip of tint across the top of the windshield.

40% on the windshield is probably a little dark. I have had pretty good results from using 3M CR70/CR90 and Llumar Air 80 on my windshields. Having used all 3, I think CR70 is the best way to go imo. It has the best heat blocking attributes, while still being light enough to not be noticeable.

Just need to find a good tinter now.
I like the looks of these wheels. $1600 shipped. Dont really know anything about sizing for these cars so not sure if they would fit. I just took a wild guess and said 20x9/20x10.5

Ignoring the 20" aspect, you have 12.5mm wider rim and 10mm more aggressive offset, comes up to 16.25mm more rim sticking out of the fender than me...no way
Using the Tailor-Made option allows 45et offset....you can put on 275/30/19 rear sized tires. Now with 20s....I am not sure if 275/30/20s will work but I should think so if you are not lowered.

Probably will stick with these wheels for a while until I find the perfect setup. Really just enjoying the car right now. Just got on a nice curvy back road and got to open it up some. Loving it.
Only problem I've noticed so far is once my dash said key not detected for a few seconds then went away. One of the "access doors" on the roof for the roof racks was broken and ended up flying off on the road somewhere. Supposedly you can't just replace that door, and have to buy the whole trim piece. It's like $370.
Washed the car for first time today. Looks awesome cleaned up. Do any of you guys use any type of leather conditioner on the seats?

I would go to a junk yard and pry off the piece and pay for it. For sure it wouldn't be more than a few bucks.
