I asked for a set to dyno. I have access to two AWD dynos here in SoCal and World is one of them and they have a wind tunnel dyno that I would love to test this on... I replied to Shardul and never heard back from him.

Just answering your question which I addressed several posts before. Never claimed to have a before/after on the intake, but if you open the airboxes up you can clearly see how restrictive they are. So restrictive that even a naturally aspirated engine would benefit from these.

hahaha...now that's funny. In all honesty I wouldn't believe it either had I not been driving or at least in the car. The first time I thought he'd just missed his shift, but after it happened again & again I had to ask him about it when we got back to the house. He had nothin'

We have already had a few members try it out and post their dyno results on forums / facebook groups etc. You are more that welcome to purchase a set and post your findings.

When i bought Carbonio intakes, their "expansion" chamber promised me gains but on the dyno it resulted in nothing but on the UP side the CF cools off quicker than OEM boxes.
Which is why i am hesitant on buying modifications.
But congrats on feeling the difference in your car which gives me hope for this product when i purchase a set for mine.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. From my motorcycles experience, UPD's filters are closer to BMC than K&N and the spacers are aluminum so although they'll retain some heat they're not touching anything except the 2 halves of the phenolic OEM airbox.
Since heat kills, I've been debating on coating the outside/underside of the lower half with that gold leaf film exotics & racecars use to help reflect more heat. Might not do much, but at $40-50 for the film & maybe 30 minutes or so it's worth a shot.

Can you provide the links/info to this info? I am looking for ways to just get the power of my E550 up. Seeing this info would be great as I haven't seen anything on these forums.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Does anyone have before and after dynos on an e63 with this intake?
very nice that e550 shows gains but just to be sure it would be best for us to see it happening without a doubt on the m157 engine.
Also, how much longer until the ECU spacer will be ready?

Up to the top, so people can also read the positive experiences with this intake kit.

Are the filters in these kits the same destroyed ones found in this post? They look identical -- https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...ml#post3991223
