Las Vegas Road Trip Race
So last weekend ( Friday ) morning took my management team to Las Veags from Los Angeles for some R&R going about 70mph with only my GM in my E63.
What do I see ahead of my on a wide open road? Gold Lamborghini Gallardo LP550 ( I know this car because my GM has this car ) and was challenged by my GM saying it'll eat me alive. Pulled up next to it in sports + and AMG mode. Honked my horn and jumped little ahead of him and slowed down and the race was on from about 75mph when we both punched it.
I took my E63 up to 165mph ( first time ) and the Lambo was about 4-5 cars length behind and arrived in Vegas with a smile on my face while my GM didn't speak much.

Does your GM know about the AMS unit and other goodies you have in your car? Any passenger in the Gallardo?

Yes my GM knows about my mods, but he just couldn't got over the fact a super car like his Lambo could keep up with a 4 door sedan. This is the fun part seeing jaws drop when our E63 passes them. Yes there was a passenger in the Gallardo.

Thanks. He bought it at the end of last year when he got his bonus because he gave my company, a furniture manufacturer based in Shanghai 2 great years in a row.

I've raced 3 Gallardos in my modded E55 and none of them were close. Only one was a freeway roll on like yours (75-175) but I still put at least 10 cars on it. I know there are different versions of Gallardos and I couldn't tell you which ones I raced so my input is purely anecdotal.

Thanks for your input.

David I wish I had nice rides like that I could take on lol
