Pictures of E63s w/ sides de-badged

Edit: Ugh... poll is supposed to say "do what you want!"

I typically like a "clean" look, so one of the first things I plan to do when my car arrives in the US is to remove the E63 and AMG badges on the back. I'm not so interested in having a "sleeper" (anyone who knows a little about cars can tell the difference), but just like less fussiness.

However, I'm on the fence about de-badging the sides. If the sides of our cars were the same as the E350, I definitely would remove the "V8 Bi-turbo" badge, but I'm a bit concerned that the indentation in the bodywork around the badge on the E63s might look empty or just odd with the badge removed.

I tried to photoshop it on to a couple of pictures of my car, but my original pictures aren't good quality and my photoshop skills are even worse. Do any of you have high quality pics of real E63s w/o the side badges?

Thanks!

I vote for 'keep the badges.'

I find that the benefit of having the badges is that much lesser cars don't want to mess with you, and any real sports cars that you do gut-stomp will remember what they were felled by and be more careful not to tease the beast the next time!

i think badges give the car some of its character and enhances the lines... dont know why but without them i looks a bit plain

I think, just as you said OP, that because of the groove on the new body style where the badge sits... if you remove the badge it would look weird.

I like the badges because I have Amg and v8 biturbo posers by me and I make it a point to drive in tandem with them when I spot them and if they're looking I give them a thumbs up

meh. An AMG without badges is like....chili w/o cheese..... beer w/o a head....chocolate chip cookies w/o chocolate chips....well, I could go on and on. Nevertheless, AMG badges are required in my opinion.

Removed all of my badges. Definitely personal preference here, but I prefer this car de-badged.

Did you happen to do this on your car? If so, do you have any pictures?

I just added ABS badge to all my wheels - antilock brakes

That was always badass on the bonnevilles circa 1993

I've taken the rear badges off my car and while it looks great, I do still miss the AMG and E63 badges. I sold my soul to look cool.

However...there's no way I'd remove the side 6.3 badges on my car (or V8 Bi-Turbo on yours)....IMO they're cool as ****, largely because they signify something cool and special about the car...and it is indeed....a special car.

I had mine de-badged for a while, the side of the car looks naked to my eye.

so I put the badges back on.

I de-badged all of my wagons, including the E63, except for the tri-star. Just a thing, I think.

Boom!
That looks fantastic.

I've always debadged my cars... looks so much cleaner.

Black E63s, completely debadged here. Started developing "hatred" for badges during my BMW times and that ///M on anything from an M-package, a poser or a real M-car. Now I couldn't care less about badges; I'm rocking a 5.5L V8 and I know it - that's all that matters

A very old one from a year ago when I bought it. 95% tinted all around now... Need to take some time and do proper photos (last time I wanted to do that - some tourist girls decided to park their Ford Focus into my front bumper - just got the car back from repairs).

I did, then ended up putting them back on. Debadge the rear, leave the sides
