I'm very happy with my Renntech HAS and lowering links. The car is stiffer in S+ suspension setting, but it handles great! I been running this setup for a year now. Zero issues.
I considered KW HAS, but it didn't come with the links like Renntech.
Vikingdisel: Since you are local, I can give you a ride in my car. Check the Midwest subforum for local events.

'03 G500, '13 G63, '17 GLS63,
Lowered mine with H&R springs in front and lowering links in the rear. The ride in the rear is terrible but I think I went too low. Plan to go back up at least 1" and hope it makes a difference.

Anything and everything can be improved - and yes, controversy is always generated by new ideas, design breakthroughs.
To quote Ferdinand Porsche “if one does not fail at times then you have not challenged yourself”.
If you get in contact we will be more than happy to resolve your issue.
Do point out K-MAC were the original inventors of front and rear “precisely” adjustable Camber, Caster, Toe bushing kits to suit all Mercedes Benz vehicles, offering up to 4 times the adjustment range of the current “inaccurate one only position” offset bolts (today’s models having only Toe adjustment).
Actual design we have been manufacturing now since 1993 with strength, durability well and truly proven.
Every problem we have found always comes back to the fundamental lack of a bush mount nut not being secured. This we have long since resolved.
As part of the continual development program for our alignment products a locking device therefore was invented that now makes it impossible for a nut to become loose.
