Man that was the MOST fun I have had in a LONG time.
I must say you all have to do this!
My best lap of the day was 1:56.
Car is 100% bone stock (even 500 treadwear tires).

100% awesome!! I raced streetbikes with the AFM, and did about a dozen trackdays at Laguna Seca. It's a wonderful track to ride on, but not so much as a spectator. The facilities are, how you say....less than stellar??
A couple questions:
* Who was the trackday provider?
* Was that your video cam, or the trackday provider?
* What's the deal with the video overlay with the dynamics? Yours, or the trackday providers?

That was my video camera (gopro) and my overlay.
There is a central app you run called Harry's Lap timer. You then load which track you are at and you pair it to your GoPro and your OBD2 sensor.
It then can pull out data from the OBD2 sensor (speed/throttle/rpms/etc) and log that with the GPS coordinates on the track and overlay this onto the GoPro video all on the iPhone.
Pretty badass!

I am not, the data acq is an iphone app that pairs to my OBD2 sensor and the gopros.
I think it did amazing! I didn't buy this car to track it, but I knew if I tracked it, it would hold it's own.
All it needs is some 180 treadwear tires and I think it would be about quite a bit faster!
Here is a new video with Temp sensor/fuel gauge/trans gear working.

Nicely done. I did a track day at Laguna with Hooked On driving a couple months ago. Car performed really well. The Harry's app you used to integrate all the car info and lap times is really slick. I used a mount on headrest and external mic on my GoPro with long cord I taped next to the license plate to cut wind noise and hear the engine. Here is a quick snippet of me going through the corkskrew.
