my thought process is similar to yours...Im done trying to make something work on a platform that makes any attempt to increase performance so difficult (whats the point of AWD if it launches soft with lag) ... I am looking to go 991.2TT (2017 911 turbo s) and audi rs3 for 4 door daily

I have the Weistec meth/water injection kit installed. Took a while to get the controller dialed in, as I simply didn't spend a ton of time initially on it. Inject too soon, not good. Inject too much, not good. Was down on ET and trap at track, and on hp on dyno. Second and most recent attempt at track ran an 11.47 at 125.5. Best ET I've had with this car by almost a second, and it was a nice warm Florida day. Trap and ET could be better and furthered with race fuel and better dialing in on the controller. After that run, I messed with the controller settings again, and it had a negative impact, so I left....there's more room I imagine. First time at track resulted in high 11's and low traps, and if meth/water came in too soon, misfires on cyl 1 as well (all due to experimenting with controller settings).
As you'd imagine the car runs strong regardless of weather conditions. Also, on the street, the top end is loads of fun.
Right now start injecting at 10psi of boost, with max spray coming in at 33psi (which I never hit of course). I am on stock turbos and smallest injectors for the meth/water, which I believe are 250cc each.
Purchased a second ECU and will build a true meth tune on it for track, etc. Hope to have the car back next week sometime.
FYI, the BOV, for those considering isn't super loud, which is great. That was my greatest concern. With hood open, can certainly hear it. Same from outside, but inside still nice and quiet!
Oh, and new forged 20" wheels being built.

Ran the car yesterday. Not a good day for racing but wanted to baseline again. Best was 11.6 @ 125.xx, consistently. 90+ degrees and > 55% humidity. Terrible day for racing but was awesome....got to run a lot! Not many people there. Had the opportunity to race a modded gtr. He beat me by two car lengths.....but that was fully detuned on minimum boost per gear and min power....his prior run was 9.7 at 160 mph...on street tires. It's an 8 second car and cool dude. Great day.

Eh not bad against a gtr that powerful (even detuned) lol

IATs for me got to 160ish Fahrenheit (70+Celcius) if I shut the car down. When I turn it back on and let it idle for a bit it'll go down to 50 celcius (low 120s F). It bounces in the beginning of the run and cools down by the end of the Run. This was the last time I was there outside temperature was mid 70s.

Sure did. Both ECUs working well. New tune on the dyno is making roughly same peak power, but in much warmer/humid conditions. Making more torque in low rpm range, and peak torque comes on 500 rpm sooner, which may help 60 ft. It's still a conservative tune, regarding AFR target and primary fueling (gasoline). Injecting more methanol/water throughout rpm range, and earlier as well (start injecting @ 5psi of boost now, vs 10psi before). Track results tomorrow if rain allows. May have to get more aggressive with tune, but I'll know more tomorrow.

Yes; weistec charge pipes are installed. I can't comment on the install, as I didn't do it myself. But yes, definitely tight space, especially when adding the injectors and BOV.

Well, best run was 11.54 at 124 w/ my best 60' of 1.866. No difference from previous tune to this one. Going to try one more time on the software side of things, and then I'll consider this thing complete, and stop modding, and just enjoy it.

Hey Peter, didn't run the car stock, unfortunately. However, I've seen stock ones run 11.9 and 12.0. Hard to compare car to car & driver to driver, but I imagine it would be somewhere in there roughly.
My car needs more in the first 1/8 mile of the track (and first 60ft). After that, it seems to run.
