Paging all SF Bay Area E63 Wagons
Hello Everyone,
I know there is a really solid number of us wagon owners who frequent this forum and live in or around San Francisco. It's been mentioned here and there in thread responses and private messages that "we should get together" or to "count me in for a meet," so I am going to try and make this happen.
Every 2nd Saturday of the month is [what I consider] the best Cars & Coffee in the Bay Area at Canepa in Scotts Valley. If you haven't been to Canepa, it's a real treat, even without the C&C event, and a must for any car and/or motorsports enthusiast. They open up the workshop, showroom, and Bruce Canepa's private collection for Cars & Coffee starting at 8AM, and the cars that show up aren't too shabby either. The crowd is much friendlier and not as "street racer" as the usual C&C turnout (anyone who's been to the Treasure Island one will know what I'm talking about).
I've been twice now and the wagon has always received much love and attention, so I have this fantasy of rolling in 5 or 6 wagons deep... wouldn't that be fun?
I usually stick around for 2 hours, leave around 10AM, and then take Black Road up to Skyline and grab an early lunch at Alice's Restaurant around 11AM... alternately, we could also take Rt. 84 down to La Honda and grab lunch in Half Moon Bay.
So... the next event is on Saturday, September 10. Who's in?
Sebastian

I was just talking to another member about an E63 wagon meetup. Great idea! This cars and coffee sounds more my style than the other ones I see online. 9/10 is a possibility for me but I have to have something in my schedule moved around. I'll know this coming week if I can make it work.

Hi fellas - anything attending for sure? I can go for about an hour or so but want to make sure that there will be others. Cheers!

Still figuring it out. Just got back last night. The 1.5 hour drive down to Scotts Valley doesn't help... This will wipe out 5+ hours of my day.

I'm PM you guys my number if you want to meet there. Are either of you leaving from central San Francisco?
I was planning on leaving earlier in the morning, but if I decide to leave later, I may meet up with some NorCal Porsche folks leaving the city at 8:30am.
