That car sounds pretty much perfect! I think the $75-$80k range is about right for the real selling price. Although I know certain MB dealers would list it for at least $10K more, hoping they land an over-eager buyer.

Thanks guys! I was thinking the same. I might be able to land it on the lower end of that spectrum.

I really wanted a Wagon, but it is so hard finding what I want, let alone at a price point I can handle.

I like the colors of this car and the fact that it had a very high MSRP (lots of options added). The low miles and CPO are frosting on the cake.

I picked up mine for $72.5k and it was a '14 S 4matic with 18k miles. That price included the extended warranty though which was pretty damn expensive but I'm happier knowing I have 4 years of warranty. Mine did not include the carbon ceramic brakes or the carbon fiber interior. Hope this somewhat helps. Not to mention I'm in Hawaii where they charge a premium for these cars.

The only thing to consider is if you want to drive a 2016 and see if you like the way the multi clutch transmission drives in that car versus a 2014. Clearly you're gonna be paying much more for the 2016 and likely not getting all of these packages including carbon ceramic brakes, just something to consider.

Too many
as a reference, before I bought my car in feb 2016, there was a 2014 car similar MSRP that I could have bought for around 81 K CPO. I elected to go with new one

Yes, new will be out of the question.

Did not know that there was a transmission difference. The two 2014s I drove seemed great.

Sounds like 2017 E63 will be announced at the Paris Auto Show in mid-October? I wonder if the W212 will take an instant depreciation hit that day?

Those brakes are a premium! Wish I had those, but ultra rare.
I purchased mine CPO as well. Well worth it with the 100k warranty.

Paid 87k CAD / 67k USD, 9k miles CPO. Only paid 5% GST on 60k with 27k trade-in ('13 C300).

Mine didn't have ceramic brakes or carbon fibre pkg, but did have winter rims/tires and night pkg.

Good luck on your purchase. I'm partial to the cardinal red, but the diamond white looks sharp.

If you are willing to come up to Canada and do a little work to bring the car back to the USA then you can get yourself a nicely equipped wagon as you wanted. Here is the link http://wwwa.autotrader.ca/a/Mercedes...PO&orup=3_15_6

The seller had the same car listed for $80K CND $. With the current exchage rate you are probably looking at $60K USD to get it home. Car has been for sale for a while. Unfortunately I cannot read french so I can't help you with the translation but I am sure Google can.

That is a great deal! You may save some money waiting for the W213 E63 to hit, but you may not find one optioned exactly like that, with that low of miles. I say pull the trigger and enjoy the car!

Here it is by the way. Beautiful car. This thing is coming right down to the wire since I am still waiting to hear back from my bank on one thing and the other sales associates are trying to sell the car out from under me. If it comes down to matter of hours, and I lose the deal, then it wasn't meant to be!

I do hope it works out though!!!

That is a really nice Wagon, and I actually thought about that one. I posted that guy's really funny EBay ad here a month or two ago.

My wife is Canadian (from Toronto) but lives up the road from me in Vancouver now.

"Your kids are late for school?
You want a sports car. Your wife wants an ergonomic car, safe and convenient for the family.
You are about to fail and to buy a minivan with the "3-spoke sports steering wheel with smooth leather" because you say ... "Well, I will buy a 911 red when children leave." ..
No. Children love to stay. Sometimes they remain forever (and if they leave early, forget the 911, you think they will sort it out to pay their rent, their studies and travels? No, it is you who are going to pay, then no 911). Stop procrastinating. Life is now. Do not do something you might regret.

Mercedes E63 AMG S-2014
V8 bi-turbo
0-100 3.4 seconds
Family, yes. Family, as in "family". The most beautiful cars created by man except the period "wood panel".
590 pounds of torque
577 horses
Average of 15.5 liters / 100 Yes, like a minivan with the sports steering wheel 3-spoke soft leather.
Brakes carbon / ceramic (15 $ 500.00)
TV (2) and dvd for children
seats ventillés
Heated seats.
smart seats: you push the opposite side in the curves.
Headlights that follow the road.
automatic driving, blind spots acifs, active braking, automatic parking, etc.
I can not name all the options. This beast has a bunch of stuff you want. There are also a bunch of stuff you do not use but ... you have (and maybe your wife will use them).

Still under warranty 80 000 km
Tires and wheels guarantees.
Rare. Very, very rare.
Fast. Very, very fast.

Perfect for winter (4 matic)
Perfect for summer (read above, V8 bi-turbo)
Perfect for your wife (safe, ergonomic and practical)
Perfect for your children (over possible delays in the class) but especially ...
PERFECT FOR YOU.

Everyone will love. Unless your neighbor. Not only because it makes a sound breathtaking, no. Because he can not find another identical. He will be content with his minivan (at least it has a fairly sporty option is summarized by a sports steering wheel 3-spoke soft leather).

The price is 90 $ 000.00.
No 89 $ 5,000.00.
No 89 $ 000.00.
To be frank, to 89 $ 995.00, it will stay in my driveway, it is beautiful and it showcases my small trees that I planted last few weeks (and reported in the huge trunk with as much cargo capacity a minivan).

Say no to minivan smile while doing your wife.
You'll love it. Your wife will love. Your wife will love you. The kids will love. Your kids will love you. Your family will become a joyful and happy family without the *%? # & $ Minivan in the background with his & sports steering wheel $$$ 3-spoke soft leather.

No "test-drive" without large deposit you will lose should the "test-drive" does not go as I want.
No dreamers, sorry.
No "kickeux of tires."
No sale in Ivory Coast for a billionaire Prince who wants to pay by pay pal because he's too busy to see the car in person.
In short, do not waste my time, I really like to spend it with my children and my wife singing the Sound of Music in that car."
