Make sure you keep the mufflers so you can put them back in next week!

For some reason on my V12TT when I remove the muffler I lost low end torque.

Chiro did you feel the same loss in low end torque when you removed your mufflers?

Why do you say that? I have been an one with the mufflers removed numerous times. Not really much louder on the inside.

if its not any louder, then why waste time doing it?

Also if you really want to do it, its not exactly rocket science, just cut the exhaust pipe right before the muffler and either weld in a straight pipe or clamp in pipe with exhaust coupler

sorry, not any louder with the windows shut which is exactly what I want. But with the windows down or behind it, you really notice it. And yes I understand it's not rocket science but wanted to see where people were having them cut, etc.

Are you sure both mufflers were removed and not the resonator or cats? I haven't heard of anyone around here doing a muffler delete...

Removing my mufflers was going to be just to remove packing and then replace them if I couldn't achieve the sound I wanted playing with the other exhaust sections. So thankfully I never needed to go that far. I'd never ditch the factory mufflers as I've found that they're typically the only ones that prevent drone at all rpms.
