Thinking of selling my 2015 E63S - need pricing advice
I am looking for some input from the members here. I bought a 2015 E63S a year ago and am thinking I want to sell it because my wife doesn't love it. I have done some research on car sites as to it's value, but half of the options I have are not listed when I go to price the car.
Basically, this car has EVERYTHING offered (B&O sound, all carbon fiber packages -interior, exterior, engine etc.) which brought the sticker to close to 126K. On delivery, I had the black 10 spokes replaced with grey five spoke wheels and I have the black ones stored (brand new condition), I had almost the entire car wrapped in clear 3m protectant, and bought the 7/100 warranty from MB.
I was thinking somewhere around 93,500 with the warranty or 87,500 without was a fair price. It has about 5500 miles on it, and service A is being performed tomorrow. The car is basically in showroom condition.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like a really mint and excellent car. If you put it up for sale, definately want to market it it right with good pictures and descriptions to get most $$. I ve seen many good cars not sell due to crappy pics/description.
What are you looking to replace it with?

First of all, it sounds like you have a very desirable car (low mileage, great options). The problem is going to be that people (like myself) buy lightly used vehicles like yours for the bargain component (let someone else incur the " just off-the-lot depreciation").
So it becomes more about economics. If sellers are pricing a vehicle too high, it makes the consumer expand their search for alternatives. In this instance, someone would likely look at 2014 E63S models as well as other competitors (M5, RS7, S6 etc). Those have even deeper discounts. I bought my '14 E63S (admittedly not as well optioned as yours but had all the "must have" options I wanted) with about 8K miles, 7/14 in service date, front 3M protectant ($105K original MSRP) for $20K less than your w/o warranty price.
I am not saying your price is unreasonable, it just won't attract a large population of prospective buyers. With that said, you only need one buyer and if someone wants those exact options and color combination, they may pay a premium for it. But if you want a quicker sale, you probably would need to drop the price a bit ($79.9K?...yeah, I know, not a pleasant thought).

I for one have had several cars and have always been second owner. Never found the justification for taking the depreciation hit myself. Nothing wrong with putting it outthere at your starting price and gradually decreasing as you see fit if you are not in a rush.

throw the manual, both keys, and window sticker on the passenger seat or hood and take a pic and it'll give the sense of brand new

does your have carbon ceramic brakes?
I would tend to agree with TMC M5's logic and think 80-85K is what it would end up for quick sale unless you are fine with waiting for a while for the right buyer to come by that wants this exact optioned car, then maybe low 90's.

I am seeing a few less than 100miles never titles 2015 models showing up around the country with dealers willing to go over 20K below MSRP. That puts you in a tight spot. However your options list is unique (ie everything on it), so you might get the right buyer for which this matters (few and far in between).
I will say any price with a starting number of 8 will have more interest IMO (warranty included)

Sounds like a nice car. Does it have Carbon Ceramic Braking System? Arctic White = Polar white?
If I were you, I'd try to get as much as possible for it, but I almost had a 2014 with late in-service date ($124k MSRP), CPO, Diamond White on Black, Pano, DAP, PAP, Carbon Ceramics, and CF inside AND outside, Ti finish ten spokes, for $75k. It had only 8,000 miles on it (you can find my original post).
With the next gen., 2017 about to be announced at Detroit in January, I think that only depresses the values further unfortunately for the sellers.

I don't think this is a 'bargain' car as some would suggest. While you may get a few low *****, there are plenty of E63s out there at lower prices though less equipped. Someone looking at this car with the options and condition will pay more than the others E63 on the market. You just have to find the right buyer. If you are patient and present it well you should get top dollar.
I searched for a long time for my E63. Short of buying new, it took a while to find the one the one I wanted with the right options, especially in matte white. I could have saved some money buying another one but this had everything I wanted.

Thanks to everyone for the input - some excellent advice. The vehicle does NOT have the ceramic brake package, which is about the only option it doesn't have.
I agree that good pics will help this sell. It truly is a beautiful example of this car and very unique in its option packages..

Sounds like a nicely optioned car! Another recommendation is to put the original wheels back on the car. Many looking for a "like new" car prefer it to be as original as possible. This way, you would be able to offer the aftermarket wheels as an option to sweeten the deal or ideally sell them separately for extra $$$. Of course if your 5 spokes are the factory forged wheels, it doesn't matter which set is on the car. Good luck!

not sure that car is comparable with packages and options. Gotta compare apples to apples. BTW that ad is a perfect example of a crappy ad with only 3 poor pictures.
edit: here is the sticker to that car. Not comparable at all, the B&O and carbon package from OP car is at least $10k right there.
