No, I'm saying it appears they tried to do a more true nightstyle package in 2016 by doing black trim around the windows, but missed the emblems and trunk trim.
My 2014 has chrome around the windows. The nightstyle package on mine only included the front bumper insert, mouldings below the doors, and exhaust tips all in black.

Night styling adds so much more sportiness to the E63. It should have been standard, and let people order the chrome separately if they wanted. I'm finally getting around to having mine blacked out with 3M wrap.
I just installed black mirror housings, which made a huge difference, and was very easy to do.
In 2014 they didnt black out the lower chrome on the window trim, but added that final piece in 2015 and beyond.
