Another small update (and pictures, yay!) So, I am driving from Rochester NY to Toronto on Thursday (3/30) to have catless downpipes installed along with new coilpacks, colder plugs, and stg 2 tune. Will post results.

As for the ceramic coating and everything, I got some pictures back on those. This applies to everyone (not just the E specifically) but in the wheel pictures you will see two wheels that have both been properly cleaned and only one has been ceramic coated. Changes the wheel entirely and it looks incredible. It also makes cleaning VERY easy and the ceramic on the car makes water pour off like an over rain-x'd windshield. I love this stuff.

I have a CF diffuser from Mode Carbon (hopefully on its way soon.......) and would like to drop the star on the trunk 1/2'' or so. Not big on how it is tucked up into the spoiler but okay for now.

Menacing ride you have there! Sweet
As for the star on the trunk you might be stuck with it that high! If it is same as the C class sedan you have 3 holes where the star get inserted. You can probably fill those and trim the star flush and just double-side tape it wherever you want

^Thanks! RW carbon trunk and front lip.

Mode Carbon diffuser on the way. Also have the roof spoiler here but it has a little fitment issue, not bad, but just figuring it out.

It's RW carbon.

Just wait until I get the rear roof spoiler and diffuser on. Just holding up the roof spoiler changes the lines and looks really good. Then with the diffuser and the exterior should be done unless I get wheels.

I did not. After reading some of that thread and what not I figure ef it and am just going to roll the dice. The only concern I have is the tranny and if they want to void my warranty so be it. I set aside some $ for a tranny just in case anyway.

I understand the risk, but the desire to be catless with more power outweighs the apprehensiveness of possibly losing a tranny and even then the risk isn't huge because I might drag the car one time. Other than that I am a fairly reserved driver who doesn't mind a spirited highway pull from time to time so the car really wont take much of a beating.

Im in the same boat. How much $ did you set aside in case the tranny goes?

I have the EC tune your getting, and its alota torque. I would avoid using the RS feature with it. When dragging doing brake boosting or going off idle is likely the safer bet.

Car looks great. Maybe a get together in Syracuse for a photo shoot if you are up for it, as I'll have the wagon version of your shortly.

Yeah, I had the RS in my C and never really used it. Used it once in the E. If I drag I use manual or S+, TC off, and left foot brake boost until it wants to break loose then let it go.

I've got a 5 digit nest egg (not just for the tranny, but for life) so that'll be enough.

Yeah sure, no problem. I go to Geneva Foreign and Sports from time to time which would be a good spot to consider. Basically in the middle of us.

Gotta make you work for it! Ha, Idk. But at least you found your way here...

EC Toronto impressions will be updated either tomorrow night or Friday. Depends on how tired I am from the round trip for the day.

Music to my ears.

If you lower yours go with the KW HAS kit. I mentioned it before, but I wish I had the adjustability in the front.

All I'm waiting for now is the mode carbon diffuser.

Currently sitting in the lobby of EC Canada getting dps / tune and yeah, I like this place.

Are you considering the UPD intake? I asked them about it but they dont seem to make anything of it so i just went with AFE dry filters.

No intakes for me. I'm not trying to chase down and squeeze out every last hp out of it. I understand the UPD intakes though and how they supposedly open up the intakes well. Call me a skeptic, but at the end of the day an intake will only net you so much.

Another small update. They are also going to take the resonators out while I'm here. So the final exhaust setup will be Rado Catless DP's, EC res delete, and the rest OEM. I'm hoping for some nice down low turbo whistling paired with top end snapping on shifts.
