Weistec water-methanol and blow-off valve kit

I've never run water/methanol injection before. How would this compare to a Killer Chiller in effectiveness?
Would there be much of a gain without retuning? Or would it need a custom tune to get a benefit?

all the fastest M5's are running water/meth... I ran it on my audi b5 s4 and it works great. weistec says 30-50 hp gain without retune and up to 100hp with tuning (i think they are getting the 100hp number with W4 kit since this meth kit is included in W4 kit)
if tuning for meth though, you would want to make sure you have some fail-safe in place...
Chiro is right though, its expensive kit... its basically a $400 AEM kit with charge pipes and BOV
About $3,000 after tax and shipping for something this simple is absolutely ridiculous. The kit looks cool, I'd like to try one but for $3700 more you can get the W3 turbo upgrade (special price).
Two pipes (copy the oem design), some rubber, clamps, bov and nozzles does not add up to $3k. Don't give me that R&D bs either cause this was little to none. Well they did print their name 3 times on it, maybe that justifies the price!

bov is on the pressurized side of turbo (cold side) and can bleed extra boost that can build up in the intact tract which can cause compressor surge during quick throttle changes and during shifts
bov prob isnt necessary on stock turbos but if upgrading to bigger flowing turbos it could be useful
With regards to how often the methanol tank needs refilling it is apparently highly dependent on how hard you drive, with consumption being higher with heavier throttle use.
I am changing my opinion a bit because if it will give say 50+hp to an already tuned car with no risks with the tank running out, then maybe it is worthwhile after all....
I am probably going to do the aem kit if i dont get the W4 kit as the w4 kit includes the meth kit

and yeah on stock turbo no need for the asv
as for power claims i think weistec might be being tricky and referring to power under the curve, or power gained that was normally lost due to timing pull under high heat, adn not actual peak gains... if the water/meth can decrease knock enough to where ~8 degrees of timing are prevented being pulled i could see 30-50 hp saved that would of otherwise been lost due to timing pull on the street... but on a first pull on the dyno with nice cool run, i agree, i doubt it is going to add 50 whp to peak dyno hp figure
on the street it would be another story as anyone that has had a F/I cars knows the difference in feeling of their car on a hot summer day vs cool winter night..... meth would help it feel like your car has the power it does on a cool winter night all year round

the kit I got for my self, same idea as AEM kit, bigger tank , stainless line (highly recommended) PM me if you want the same in a bit higher price than kit from summit .
I'll be running single nozzle , no need 2 nozzles in our case , everything will mix just fine in the cooler .
