I have the kit but was reconsidering it as I didn't want to sacrifice ride quality. Any trouble getting the camber alignments back into spec so you don't prematurely wear out the inner tire treads?
Very nice ! These cars really need 20s , This was the exact sizes I want for my sedan , do the offsets work the same for the sedan vs wagon? How is the ride quality with the larger rim but bumped up tire size ? I want to keep my suspension height stock also , do you have any rubbing with this setup?
With the Michelin tires, I found the ride still very good. I only had them in for a little while and decided to sell a few days after installing. It wasn't due to the ride quality more that I wanted a meatier look. Still not quite there but will eventually.
As as far as fit for sedan, no worries as I went off the Vorsteiner sizes seen above on the white sedan that SupremePower posted. I had zero rubbing issues. Kind of wish I ran longer and without rim guard to really give them a chance lowered but oh well.

As far as I recall, my values are within spec though don't recall what they were. Regardless, I think MB rears get eaten even at nominal values as far as I've read but we shall see. Rear tires were new when I installed the suspension and wheels.

Yeah, even at stock height I have to keep at least 45psi in the rears to prevent premature inner tread wear. I wouldn't want it to get worse though!

Yes rears (and fronts) get eaten as OEM there is only Toe (directional) adjustment.
Fitting wide profile tires, altering height through load carrying or lowering, high cambered roads - precise adjustment capability for Camber and Caster (changing tire contact angles) is essential.
We saw the need and manufacture front Camber and Caster (replacing at the same time the 4 highest wearing bushes - deleting the OEM oil and air voided bushes with a mono ball/2 axis design which provides noticeably improved brake and steering response).
Rear kit also provides Camber adjustment for the first time (and "extra" Toe adjustment to compensate for the Camber facility).
Bush extraction tool provided so rear Camber can be fitted on vehicle.
If I hit a big dip it has an ever so slight rub. I think the extra et is helping. I definitely want to had it literally about 3mm from touching the inner barrel to strut. But been using this set up for a while now. On h&r this set up did not work. On coil over sleeve it works perfect. I was able to dial it in

Thanks. I am gonna toy with a bit more -offset and see what happens.

ive gotten my car aligned multiple times at the dealer still getting camber wear and burning through tires prematurely. I'm not too educated on alignment and suspension and what not so i never knew this was a problem from factory. is it true that only MB can do the alignment? several guys have told me that but it seems even MB cant get it right. perhaps because of the lack of adjustability?
Sits you to far in. Lower the offset number the more aggressive the wheel fitment is
hi, im confused. im looking at 20" rims and want them to fit without rubbing on 255 from and 285 rear.
which offset gives you the wider stance/look, 35 or 45.
thanks

35 would be the wider look. the lower the offset the more they go away from the strut and push outward.
BUMP for an excellent thread. I hope to chime in soon when i decide on wheels/correct offsets.
I think I am set on the cross-spoke AMG forged wheels from a CLS63 for the rear. For the front, i am debating the CLS wheels with spacers OR C63 convertible wheels. CLS ones are the exact same as the E, but the C poke out an extra 12mm over stock so i am concerned with it looking funny, where the fronts poke out more than the rears. I really want them perfectly flush with the fenders.... Decisions decisions.
