Anyone paint there brake rotor hats???
Im starting to get rust on my rotor hats , I really hate this , I wish MB had 2 piece rotors with aluminum hats , I know I can buy aftermarket but my rotors are in great shape.
Did anyone paint there's yet ?
Im not sure to use a spray or brush?
Anyone with success on painting there rotors with success please let me know , Thanks

If the rotors on the car are 1 piece rotors, then you can paint the center hub to prevent it from rusting. I recommend using a high temp caliper spray paint to do this, preferably black is what most people use. You can tape off the surface of the rotors if you want to just paint the center hub. If you decide to do the entire rotor, just spray a light coating on the surface of the disc and however much you want on the center hub.

Thanks guys , I was thinking the g2 caliper paint read some good reviews on it ,not sure ito go silver or black, silver might be a little more forgiving as it will blend with spots I might miss because it's silver already

The G2 caliper paint is another option but going with the high temp caliper spray paint will be easier and look better compared to the brush on G2 paint.

I seen some YouTube vids on G2, It is a longer process than spray but it is an epoxy style paint when you brush the paint on the brush marks just disappear and turns into a shell , also don't have worry about overspray

I used G2. 24 hour cure time, but a lot of users started driving within 8-12 hours. I went by instruction (24hr) but it was dried the next morning (12 hours in). I did a poor job so had to clean up a lot of run-offs, but quite happy with the results.

did mine with g2 red paint about 2 years ago? ...maybe even longer than that.
still holds up pretty good , id say its a good stuff , but take your time painting carefully , and it wll look nice at the end. Yes it takes more time to paint , but with that brush u can do a more of a delicate job.
where spray paint you would have to tape around parts you dont wanna get painted.
spray paint hold up very well tho as well...
