With the Racechip in the factory setting (switch 2 set at position 2) I ran a 11.6@123. I've tried settings 3,4,5 and all of them throw a check engine light and the car does not seem to run as good as setting 2.

Matt - hey think i mentioned but the stock setting for racechip was S2 = 2 / S1 = 1 . I emailed with their tech team (info@racechip-usa.com) who is actually super responsive and they first said to try s2=4 to see if that increased the power, which for me it did not (15 E63S). Then we tried S2=3 and didnt seem to show any improvement so I reverted back to S2=2 which did give a noticeable power boost (although i doubt it was the full 700 crank HP they market as gains from the device).

you can email them and see what they recommend... say you bought the car with that on it if they ask.

Ya the factory settings seem to be best; I dropped .15 from the time but picked up over 4mph on the trap speed so that's a good gain. It was also 10-15 degrees warmer out so the ET would probably be even lower if the DA were the same. I've put over 1,000 miles on it with no issues when the settings are factory so it's great
