yeah with around 1000 hp .... for that much power 10.3 is sad.... 600 hp e55's ran that fast 3 yrs ago... our cars need an extra 400 hp to run same time

Sad for sure! I can't think of another 1000hp car this sad in the 1/4mile. Should be well into the 9s even at its weight.

2.8 from 0 is very good. Must of had to mod the TCU to get that?

Slow from a stop is not something I would use...

Unless you have cash to burn on the best street rubber every 4 months or so for a RWD car, I do not see how it can compete
I love Mich PS2, PSS tires, but dear god their stickiness wears off fast and they dry out (must be our heat). I just gave up as replacing them, as its not cheap and they usually do not stock my size...where as in the 4matic...press gas on everything maxed out = back/ gut and chair are one

Put the same toyo tires on the 4matic and the 4matic will beat the RWD. Both are gonna have the same MCT lag but just no/less wheel spin on 4matic vs RWD.

Maybe...maybe not. I'd like to see a 4matic warm the tires properly with a burnout. At least they fixed that problem on the new car!

Just turn traction all the way off should be fine.
2.8s is just wow. I'd like to see RWD do that.

Coming from an E55, even the 4matics are slow from a stop. I ran Toyo T1R street tires which were not even close to Michelin prices and based off of what I've personally witnessed at the track and from dragtimes entries, it would take down a 4matic. So in my world, slow from a stop is pretty accurate...
End of the day no mater how you look at it, its a street car and that's where it will be spending most of its life. Pointless to have performance you can not use . I have a CLS55 1rst is pointless and 2nd has to be feathered unless you have very good rubber. Saying ''a car can achieve X 0-60 when its -5c, on Fully preped VVVT track, with the lowest sea level, Drag tire set up...etc etc does not = real world driving conditions. I get it You base results on the 1/4 tracks, to each their own . Difference is a 55k can only do it on the track. A 4matic can do it anywhere in normal trim and that is a defining trait, power and traction is on tap when and where i want

Your talking about fully prepped tracks... am talking daily driving on the streets.

I can't speak for others but in my case I stand by my position that my E55 would keep up or even out launch any 4matic for the front half of a race and even through the 1/4 against anything this side of turbo upgrades.

^ i too had both e55 and e63s 4matic and agree the e55 will get the jump even on the 4matic on the street because of the trans Lag our m157's have.... if we could eliminate the lag then the 4matic would jump out ahead of the e55 and not look back

First question is when can we expect real world proven data for this setup like 1/4 slips, 60-130 vbox times etc? And the second question is when are we going to be able to fully tune ecu/tcu so we can start blowing up our diffs, trans and axles like the m5 guys do? Totally serious! That tcu limit is veeerry annoying...
