Those wheels are fantastic.
For me its mostly to allow for more aggressive fit. I'm pretty certain I could run without the plates but wanted to have adjustment if needed.
These would work for what you are looking for though.

Looks like the nice weather is here to stay (can’t say that too early because you never know around here).

Lowered it a bit. Needs some tweaking but a front control arm needs replacing so waiting till that gets done.

That looks all kindsa awesome, Martin! Makes me wanna trade for a wagon! If you need new control arm, why not go adjustable? (If they make them). BTW, what are the specs on those wheels? (I am sorry if you mentioned them prior, I don't recall having come across them.

Thanks

I installed adjustable top strut mounts. Didn't know I needed a new arm until I lowered it.

BBS CI-R with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
20x9" ET38 plus 5mm PFS spacers (ET33 final) with 265/30R20
20x10" ET45 with 295/25R20

I am running the spacers because the LM-R I have inbound are 20x9" ET32 up front. Plan was to have the LM-R by this time and that looks to be delayed till July.

Only way I can do that is by having a hook up and a oversized storage unit that my patio furniture only takes up half it’s space.

Otherwise I’d only have one set.

Bug season is here.
But at least catching the sun going down is easier. I'll take the trade off.

What was the story on the control arm? Damaged/worn already? How many miles/K are on this car? Ours has been a tad maintenance needy under 20K miles. Justifying the extended CPO warranty already (duh, right?)

I didn't bother dealing with the dealer. I knew they would tell me it was due to me being lowered and didn't feel like dealing with the frustration. Already was dealing with the clear peeling off the calipers where they declined coverage.
Went to the other local dealer and they got it covered. I have my doubts that the first dealer did anything to get a response as second dealer said they saw no warranty submission for my VIN.

Car has 61k km (38k miles).

Wow is all I have to say. These just landed after a 5 month wait...and may not even use them.
Plan was to have them custom re-drilled to 5x112 from their native 5x120. If someone is interested, let me know.
20x9" ET32 and 20x10" ET45.

These are stunnig to say the least. Is redrilling wheels something you have done before? I was first stroduced to this concept some time ago when I was looking for RPF1's.

I personally have not. I have a guy lined up that specializes in BBS rebuilds that has done 120 to 112. Most of the time 114.3 to 112.

Do you have actual pics of your wheels to see how much lip there is. Also how much to redrill to 5x112.

That is the actual pic of the wheel. I’m getting more early next week of the actuals. Here is another from a Japanese ad.

As for price, he told me last year but don’t recall. I’ll get a current price. Does take time to get done though.

After a lot of back and forth, I've decided it's time to part with this vehicle.

For those in the Ontario or Quebec, Canada region and are interested, pm me.
