It may very well as the front quarter panels are covered in xpel ppf.

Jimminez - bummer to hear your parting ways with your e63 wagon beautiful car we have been following.

Curious to hear your reasons for moving on and that is not a loaded question....Would welcome the feedback as I’m in a 2015 e63 with 26k miles and 18 months of CPO warranry remaining but debating to keep or move on. Thx

My only reason to sell the vehicle is based on what it will be exposed to come September. Kids will go to pre/post school at a location that is a mile down a dirt and gravel road and up a farm house with over grown shrubs. I don't want to expose either of my current vehicles and can't have three cars at this time. Figure next owner isn't going to be looking for a car that is filled with sand and dust in every location not to mention the wear it will get due to the rocks.

If it doesn't sell, I won't be too upset as I'm enjoying the ride very much.

Love it! How’s fitting a ET+35 in the rear?

You mean is there any rubbing? Not sure yet. Based on how it looks, I think there may be. We’lol see if anything can be done with alignment but I’m sure Comfort mode will also help with it. But what fun is that?

Yes, I meant rubbing... what other "nemesis" do wheel lovers face? (specially when trying to be non-traditional) lol! Yeah, I am another one of those who turns the knob to "S" as soon as the car is on. On the "rubbing" note. I dunno. I looks like the rears would be fine. Let's remember that as suspension travels, negative camber increases, allowing the wheel to sorta tuck under the fender. Looking fwd to see what your winter set up will be.

The top of the fenders isn’t my concern with the rears, rather the joint between the bumper and quarter panel.

I am sure the diameter of the overall set up has not changed and the distance from the tire to the body of the car, twd the front and the back, should also not have changed. If it ain't rubbing now, it won't be later (if I am picturing this correctly).

This set up sticks out more than my previous and I’m lower to top of tire. But we’ll see.

Thanks. One of my favourite. Had them on my SQ5 and needed to find a way to get some for the wagon.

You should do a compilation post of all your wheels with the same/similar angles side by side. Maybe profile shots?

I can't decide on a set and you basically have done a study on e63 fitment haha. Which ones do you have and which are sold?

"20x9" ET38 + 5mm spacers = ET33 265/30R20"

Dr. Jimminez, I have a, ahem, friend, cough*, who is considering running 5mm spacers up front with stock wheels. Did you run them straight up on the hub or did you use hub extenders? If you are running the 5mm on stock hub, how much lip is there left to mount the wheel on?

Thanks.

Those were BBS PFS spacers that have an incorporated hubring lip. I did buy some other 5mm spacers to use with my stock wheels but never mounted so don't have an answer for you.

This is how BBS PFS spacers look.

Thanks for your response, Jimminez. I looked those up and glanced over the item description. They only work on BBS wheels apparently. I am currently running 3mm spacers and I feel like the amount of lip left is the bare minimum to mount a wheel on. I am thinking of giving these hub extenders a try. Will let the community know how that goes when/if I go that route.

Correct. I should have been more clear.
