that launch .
I also love how you hear the kid walk by, with each step of his shoes sticking to the ground (starting at 1:46min)

These cars are all fun, but I don't know why the dodges are getting all the fun action when the potent CTSv is getting no love on this forum. I find that car to be waaay more potent than the dodges/Chrysler. Lots of modding potential (LSx engine) plus it can actually turn. Hell it will outrun the E63/RS7/M5&6/etc etc on any track straight or curvy right out of the box (stock to stock).
Stock, they are trapping almost as much as a tuned E63. And they run almost as fast as the tuned AWD E63 in the quarter mile with RWD.
I guess I just don't get the fascination with the dodges. Demon not included, but to me, it's like that really awesome toy you have no use for

Stock vs stock E63s is faster. Modded it's different.

I have run 2 of the new CTS Vs stock. Both of them I smoked not by a little but 4 cars and 3+ mph I ran 11.7 122 both of them were not even close. Both at the drag strip. One even got a .3 jump on the light and I ran him down and passed him

if one's priority is top 1/4 mile times, why spend $130k for a Demon in upper 9's when for about $20k you can enjoy one of these 8 or 9 second beauties with roll bars included and have plenty of extra $$ for a Hellcat, E63 or RS7, M5 or other multi-purpose supercar

to each their own - but i just love all these flavors of damn fast cars

Where's the $130k coming from?
There were plenty of dealers moving hellcats for msrp from day one. There will be plenty of dealers moving the Demon for msrp as well, which by all accounts I've seen, wont be near $130k.
The supposed 3k limit on production will be a bigger issue, as you'll need connections to get one. And with dodge's record of just about never sticking to limited production runs lately, I wouldn't bet the ranch they'll only build 3k of them.
And yes, TrackHawk please. I'll use it to tow my 900whp Hellcat track car.

I like the Hellcats and the Demon. I am probably not going to buy any of them, but I am very glad that Dodge has the ***** and attitude to make these cars. Hopefully other performance divisions from other manufacturers are given the green light to make more purpose built cars and not just ones that are designed to appeal to the masses.
^^^ This. I work for Nissan, and I can confirm that the sheer ability for FCA to design, engineer, build, and sell this beast is a feat worthy of admiration. My company has penned up several awesome concepts over the years, and many of them have died premature deaths (here's looking at you, ID-X).
Of course, we're quite fond of our GT-R.
I'm happy to see the Demon for no other reason than the fact that it's specifically catering to the racing enthusiasts. VERY impressive numbers for any price point, let alone the target MSRP.

Push... the.... envelope.
I am very happy also that in this green fuel conscious world, manufactures still have the brass ***** to make cars like the demon and hellcat and E63S

Amen, brother. I don't care what the badge says, it's the ideology that I'm embracing. Then again, I've never been one to let a badge deter me from driving a car that can provide an enjoyable ownership experience.
