Honestly, how are any of us upset. The Demon is awesome for what it is, is faster than your car while maintaining a warranty, and ended up costing much lower than anticipated. And unlike the Hellcat, it has the opportunity to appreciate in value. I'm excited and I likely won't even get one!

Any way demon is demon even stock , tuned this thing would be just below 2000 hp on stock motor with spray also his suspension made to put the power down . I'm not going to get one because 2 door . Otherwise I would .

WHY no GTR? I mean it would only have to be for space issue reasons , obviously you are a performance guy and the GTR is an unbeatable modified street machine , it's a modifiers wet dream the sky is the limit

I had GTR for 3 weeks to drive and tune , never , I will never buy that car , otherwise I'd buy it long time ago . hate it .

Thanks ! I agree all valid reasons ,it's funny I kind of knew all these reasons but seeing them listed makes me think twice about getting one but it will only be a toy car maybe 3k a year ,
the interior is better on the newer ones
sound at partial throttle is subjective and exhaust system
quality of ride I think newer ones are better 15 and up
transmission reliability of course needs built adding power but I do hate that 2100rpm at 65 mph my buddy's Audi S3 is the same its like it needs another gear
maintenance no worse than AMG except for trans fluid ouch!
The seats they are tight and suck but I drove a 16 with the premium red leather or white seats they are much more comfortable .

The one I had is 16 with 8k miles , as a toy car yeah ok choice , another reason is it's not as fun to drive in till you start pushing it hard , but we don't do that much on the streets . gtr no as exciting as dodge in my case , you floor gtr you know what would happened , SRT you step on it you never know , all you know is 1000 hp with RWD , sh$t storm is coming , so more of a driver car and ride is way better . You welcome .
Of all the none E63 cars mentioned in this thread, P100D is my choice with the speed it can reach and the gas it saves. Is it not pleasant to look at, I think so, but so is all the cars mentioned here and that is why I drive a AMG.
