that's whats the coolest part to me... that dodge was able to get this project passed internally and make it to the real world..... Im sure it was no easy task and sure that has to be all sorts of compliance/ regulatory bs they had to fight through to get a 9 sec street car through all the channels..... most companies would of said "f$ck uit, its not worth it" .... dodge said " f$ck it, we're doing this!"
Can confirm. I approve parts submission warrants for components used in overseas production. The red tape for any NORMAL car is absolutely redonkulous. The ability for FCA to keep their nose to the grindstone to successfully give us this car in spite of all the red tape should be applauded. If we were able to get similar cooperation from our design and legal committees... you'd see some bonkers stuff come from us.
Kudos to FCA.

When you can't even run the tires you want without the ecu nannies in traction and abs trying to kill you, or can't drive with passengers unless the tranny is in comfort mode because of the jerkiness, things get effing old. And that's not even getting into the nodding limitations or what a joke Race Start is to launch.

The stuff that FCA -(as well as GM and Ford) is doing is exciting. We are seeing stuff that no one has done since the 60s. The Demon is falling in line with the 68 SS/A and SS/AA HEMI Dart and HEMI Barracuda. They left the assembly line running 10.8, setting records in super stock drag racing. Not to mention all the other factory drag cars.

E63 = sport sedan, Porsche = sport car, demon and hellcat = muscle car. As a daily driver, getting from point a to b fasterest is not the only thing I care for or I would have gotten a Tesla P100D.
