Sonax Alcantara and interior cleaning and little visual effect
Did some cleaning with the Alcantara and interior with Sonax and added a little visual effect. Interior, especially the steering wheel looks almost like new.
I didn't know AMG stuff, made in Germany, came in Japanese poly bags?

You would be surprised and it's not only limited to AMG stuff, Mercedes stuff as well. Here are some examples what you get at the dealer's parts department:
Look up the cargo net part number on my attached photo and do a search and you will see that it doesn't match either, yet it came with the car brand new. I can't tell you why it doesn't match so maybe give MBusa a ring and find out?

1: Was I selling something on this thread ( read the subject )?
2: Was it a Chinese made product/knockoff? Maybe so, but I don't mind paying for it so long as I think it looks good and the key word is I. It's not a critical or performance part you need to do a FBI enquirer on, it's a emblem that if one bought it, didn't like it can throw it in the trash without blinking an eye.
6speeddavd. If you want to sell your steering wheel, I suggest you clean it up before posting it because well since your selling it, it's safe to say I would not be looking to upgrade my AMG steering if it looks worst than mine and mine looks pretty new.
I think you are taking what I said way out of context. People were curious about the validity of that piece because of the part number on the bag and I was simply validating that it is by no means authentic. You didn't seem to point that out right away although its obvious you know it is not authentic (should have just mentioned this when someone genuinely asked). Regardless, I think the badges look great and in fact debated buying one myself when I had my 2010 E63.
Regarding the alcantara steering wheel I have for sale, I am in no rush to sell. Someone will buy it who needs a core sent out to get re-wrapped. If it was in good shape I would ask what a good condition steering wheel sells for ($900+) and I am asking about half of that. And with that said, your input on my for sale items is irrelevant to this thread anyway!
