Exactly what's in the night package for the wagon?
After a six month search, I'm on my way to joining the e63 wagon club having just put down a deposit. I'll post some pics when I get the car, but in the interim....
My car doesn't have the night package. I really like shadowline trim on the windows and I've seen a few posts debating a wrap vs. plastidip, but I'm also considering just replacing the trim. However, I don't want to just do the windows, I suspect there's other bits as well, such as the door sills.
I've searched far and wide but can't find the exact parts/changes that come with the night package. Mine is a 2016. Thoughts?

I bought black side mirror covers from a Mercedes dealer off ebay for $170 for the pair. Was easy to install as they just pop right off and snap right back in. I had planned to have someone wrap the trim as well, but I was pretty happy with how much better the black mirrors changed the look.

Yes, but I'd rather not go into the gory details of why I didn't buy it out of respect for the seller. The seller was very forthcoming with details and proactively pointed out some things that they knew would be an issue for me. I'd certainly consider buying from this seller again.
In short, I am very particular with my cars, probably to the point of being OCD. Panel/door gaps and symmetry are probably my two biggest items, with paint being a very close third. The car in question had a couple of gaps that didn't 100% line up between both sides of the car, and I just knew i would always be looking at it and grumbling. These are very minor things that most people wouldn't notice, and if you saw this car you might not notice it until I pointed it out, but once I saw those (and one other item that was proactively disclosed today) I knew that I couldn't buy the car., especially when we're talking about this amount of dough. This car will be the most expensive car I've ever bought, assuming I can find another one! The seller was very understanding and immediately refunded the deposit I had placed.
When this car sells, or when I see it disappear from the interwebs, I'll return to the thread and provide some additional details.
It really is a stunning car, and whomever buys it will undoubtedly enjoy it to the max. I will say that my issues were purely cosmetic in nature. As I said, they're so minor that you might not even notice them unless you knew where to look, and even then, if they don't bother the ultimate buyer like they bothered me, everybody wins.
Meanwhile, the hunt continues! Today I added MB On Demand to my search methodology, so now it's cars, AT, manheim, mbusa, mb on demand, maybe a little eBay, maybe a little search FSBO, maybe a little BAT. if anyone has another source I'm all ears!

I'll simply say that CPO is not necessarily a gold or even silver standard. I bought a 2009 E550 a number of years ago that was CPO and needed significant paint and body work to properly fix some issues. I had to get MBUSA involved as well. However, I will agree that CPO at least gives some level of confidence vs without.
