I have 20x10 ET45 and the wheel is as close to flush as I feel comfortable with a 295. Your proposed wheel would sit out 4mm more than this:
The photo is deceptive. It appears as though 4mm is no big deal, but it would rub. I returned a set of wheels that were ET42 because they rubbed, which is only 3mm different than what I have now.

Somethings not right here... Your current set up of +35 offset (with 295) is more aggressive than the +42 (with 295) pictured above. It's not possible for the +42 to be rubbing if the +35 doesnt

The error was typographical. I fat-fingered my phone and didn't proofread my post. I presently have ET45. ET42 was too aggressive. I edited my post for posterity.
