PP Front Calipers
i was washing the wagon yesterday and noticed the clear is peeling on one of the front calipers. Car is a 2014 E63S with under 30K miles - wondering if anyone has had this happen - if so what did you do to fix. Would this be something I can take back to the dealer that is covered by warranty or is it on me?
If on me anyone local to Bay Area (S. Bay) that has a recco on a shop to fix?

I had the clear on my calipers peel off. The dealer denied warranty coverage on the basis that calipers are wear and tear items. However, they eventually replaced the calipers for free on a goodwill basis as I was not satisfied with their initial response. Good luck OP.

I was able to get one of them replaced under warranty, but when two other ones started peeling they denied it saying it was an environmental issue and it's not covered under warranty. This was from MB Canada so it wasn't really the dealership's fault.

just got back from dealership and after visual inspection they are ordering me a new caliper - the bad is that they are back-ordered and i'm guessing with production ramping all parts go their first.
the other good news is that the finish on the back of the arm-rest right above the rear vents was peeling and MB is covering that part as well and ordering me a new piece.
all in all a good day and saved me some $$$$$
