W212 E63 Adaptive Trans ECU Reset (it works!)
Many of you guys know this “trick” to reset the Mercedes adaptive transmission or ECU reset as many call it, but I thought would post here the instructions on how to do it for anyone new......
I had done this several times on my e63 holding the pedal down for only 4-5 seconds which never did anything to reset the e63 but was what worked on my c32 so I thought it didn’t work.
I followed these steps exactly with a 10 second pedal press (instead of 4-5 second) and the Trans is definitely much more responsive. I did a few launches using race atart after doing the reset I would got the traction control light to flash from the rears spinning a bit which never happened previously.
Give it a try...have fun

You should try disconnect the battery overnight. That’s a major difference and the only thing outside of Star that resets the adaptations for me.

You don't need to do that. Position 1 is one press (no brake pedal, known to me as accessory mode) and position 2 is a second press (also no brake, and this is otherwise known as ignition on).
