the conventional speed range for testing top end is 60-130. Can you give that a try?

A strong tune only will yield a 7.0 seconds or better on this platform, 60-130mph

In very cold, negative DA conditions I did 6.34s 60-120mph, 6.85s 100-200kmh, and 8.11s 60-130 mph (all same run). That was with EC stage 2 tune, Speedriven catted downpipes and UPD spacers and filters.

The Alpha 9 had upgraded turbos. The best tune only M157 E63 I have seen was in the high 7s but was a pre-2014 RWD model. The gearing on these cars and powerband are less than ideal for 60-130mph runs compared to other cars in the segment.

exactly - so it seems the op is doing pretty good since he has upgraded turbos too

If you want to get the best time 60-120 time, better to start at 45 or 50 miles per hour in 3rd gear and then give Full Throttle. You boost lost and shifting time during the 2nd to 3rd shift that occurs at 60 miles per hour. This would also apply to be 60-130 time. For that you also want to make sure you hold 4th gear until 131 miles per hour. If 4th - 5th shift occurs at 128 miles, that will hurt your 60-130.
