I know I can make a cheap 8 second car but as someone mentioned the e63S is this pure luxury iconic cruiser with a (tuned) fierce power plant and AWD to bring on some daily driving excitement ... and it'll massage my back as we go ....

Ran a stock, manual Hellcat, from 85 - 175! I was behind him and did punch it a bit earlier than him.
Thought he'd eventually take me top end, but I steadily crept up on him the entire time. Put 3+ car lengths. I was stock.
I did talk to the guy a few months later when I ran into him! In all fairness, he's been flying for a good hour prior to the run and he most likely was heat soaked?
Run was done in Mexico.

Yes, it is street legal. To qualify for the class, it has to be street legal. Technically, the modded cars here are not considered street legal by their state or the feds once the down pipes enter and and or the cats come off.

I get some randoms but more often I come across the douchebag that camps in the passing lane and tries to pace the cars next to him. I love to jump around when they think there’s no way any car would be fast enough to get around then watch them blow their top because I got by. Never will understand the insecurities that causes people to behave that way.

This is the exact scenario that I also have lots of fun with. I tell my friends this is why I drive a car FU power!! It is hilarious when these dumb *sses think you cant pass them and then you are almost out of their view when they realize how badly you just smoked them. Oops.

This morning I got an 2015 E63 Wagon pretty good !! In fairness he was stock. He was laughing and we chatted at the light. I mentioned that if I had a tune, it would be AMS. He said, "OMG, I gotta get one of those" And of course anybody knows wagons aren't as fast right?

I haven't got to run anything exciting.
But sure like blowing the doors off people regularly!
The best is sport + downshifting and seeing people at the intersection looking around for the car and they can't find it

Aparently tuning is better on that platform so if he was tuned and you’re not, the 43s will easily (and unfortunately imo) keep up and then some.

He was running 11.8s and 11.9s from what I remember.
If you get caught sleeping at a light against one of those puppies, you're toast!
They're a bargain if you're looking for decent performer with all-wheel drive.
