The bro-tastic newer muscle cars are always fun. Just because it's loud doesn't mean it's fast.
Some guy today with a 90's-era 911. Seriously?

997 4s, me, fully loaded 3 adults and children. He could hang for a while drafting but eventually gave up when speeds exceeded 155mph. I have no tune but also no limiter.

I don't go picking these street fights they always seem to fight to get along side me at a light. It's just funny to me because I'm not a street racer by any means

There is always something faster. Yes, even older cars can be much faster than our modern MB's. There are many 90's and earlier era 911's that will destroy the E63 as are there many older muscle cars that will also obliterate the E63. Remember, it is much easier and cheaper to make those old muscle cars seriously quick. http://www.dragtimes.com/compare2.php?make1=39&model1=604&op1=%3C%3D&year1= 1999&make2=-1&op2=%3D&year2=0&make3=-1&op3=%3D&year3=0&make4=-1&op4=%3D&year4=0

Stock, the E63 is very quick and unbelievably versatile in it's ability to haul people and go fast. It's hard to beat the messaging seats that will blow cold or warm air on your neither regions all while sipping on your Starbuck's cappuccino and listening to the B&O sound system. But, again, there are some stupid fast older cars.

Havent had the chance to dish out any attitude adjustments in a while. Currently at 940 miles though out of the 1000 mile break in on the new motor. So it will resume soon.
I did really enjoy beating a woman in her soulless P85 Tesla (yes, I know I cant beat a P100). She tried 3 times to get me. Struck out! Then she was so pissed off and classless, that when I finally let her go by, she wouldn’t acknowledge me. I mean c’mon, if I get beat, I will smile and give the winner a thumbs up.
As it was mentioned above, there is always someone faster. In fact I have a peer at work that has a 2002 camaro running 6 fiftees!! Has a custom huge big block running nitrous with a custom frame too.

+1. Can’t avoid these challengers. Many of them I just let them go. Not even worth the gas or the ticket risk. I mean, REALLY MAN? You think Honda is that fast? A lot of these challengers just want the free entertainment. Never forget that.

Of course there is always a faster car but it’s fun when people in hellcats, vetts, Porsche gt3’s don’t know the power an e63 has. Especially a tuned one when they can’t pull on you while your pulling on them. All while having half the mufflers noise

off the line we must all bow to their brilliance
I know I can make a cheap 8 second car but as someone mentioned the e63S is this pure luxury iconic cruiser with a (tuned) fierce power plant and AWD to bring on some daily driving excitement ... and it'll massage my back as we go ....

Add an M4 to the list (with the competition package - from the sound of the exhaust). Caught up with him, we slowed down, and I beat him from a 35mph roll. From the line it would have been no contest. Got a thumbs up from his passenger. Gotta love a station wagon.

Honestly, not a lot has happened where others try to mess with me in terms of an overtake. Seems more often than not in my neck of the woods they are either getting out of the way to let me pass or just trying to be a dick and box me in.
In my W212 I had one newer Buick try to start something on a 3 lane highway but I left him 2 football fields behind.
In my W213 I had a Guila creep up on my ***, and I moved over as I wasn’t really in the mood, but then had a change of heart...when I eventually did catch up to him we both gave it a go. It was a heavy trafficked two lane highway, but when we were each able to get to our own lane he kept up and I was unable to overtake…probably the top-end Guila.
Mostly its bro’s in old BMWs or lifted HEMI trucks who just tend to act squirrelly around the AMG in traffic’d conditions knowing full well there will be no opportunity to open the vehicle up. I just chalk it up to salt.
Next time another opportunity comes up with a worthy competitor though I definitely won’t move over again! It happens so rarely.
In regards to this, well I know a couple tools who happen to build 8 second ****boxes, and they all talk smack about the AMG, mostly because they can't afford one. Telling me things to the tune of "my MR2 will smoke your E63", to which I respond, ok we will both do a 1/4 mile on the track, but you must have your massage seats turned on and air conditioning full blast (to make it an even race of course), and that usually shuts them up.

Biggest issue I have is people in front of me, generally in small cars, blocking me in overtaking lane and then increasing their speed, thinking they can get away from me, to dangerous levels where I then have to back off to make sure nobody gets hurt or arrested!
It’s actually rare I come across anything decent, had a good battle with a clearly modded M3,but other than that, it’s silly boy racers who think they are much faster than they actually are!

I had a run in with a new Nismo edition of this car. Beautiful and looks fast, but was flogged by an old man wagon towing groceries. Then, I've lined up next to an '04 E55 that blew my doors off too (prior to my tune). You can never be too sure 😀.
