Renntech lowering question

I'm being told if lowering with the Renntech adjustable lowering kit and then wanting to go back to stock new shocks will be required. Can anyone confirm this to be true?

I wouldn't think so, but if...

...you drive it 40 or 50 k miles with the compressed setup, I suppose it could be argued. But really, you'd probably need need them anyway, as the original Monroe's are junk..

I was asking because I was told in order to install the Renntech lowering kit the shock seat needs to be removed but I guess since i'll be able to raise it to factory height it wouldn't really matter. I looked at the installation instructions and indeed the shock seats need to be removed in order to install the Renntech springs. I just had it lowered and honestly can't tell the difference in ride quality. It's so unnoticeable that I still feel the need to drive in sport 2 suspension mode.

That's amazing...

The ride quality on my last two cars with it was fine on good surfaces, but awful on anything else.
What kind of wheels and tires are you running? Got a picture (height)?

i'm using factory double 5 spoke CLS63 wheels. The rears are 1/2" wider and more aggressive offset, the fronts are the same as the E wheels. No pics yet but will take a few and put here tomorrow.

Here’s how she sits now. Will be installing 10mm spacers in the front this week. The rear CLS wheels are perfect in terms of width/offset.
