Wheel fitment question for 2016 E63S wagon!

Good afternoon all! I'm loving my new (to me) E63S wagon...a friend is selling some CLS AMG wheels, and I thought they might work as good winter wheels for my E63S.

The CLS AMG wheel measurements are:

F: 8.5x19 w/25 offset
R: 9.5x19 w28 offset

IIRC, these are slightly narrower than the E63S wheels, but for winters, the slightly narrower contact patch will only be a benefit (I think!). Just checking to see if the offset works though! Any thoughts?

Thanks!!!

E63S
The front would probably fit with the proper tire stretch... the rear though.... something tells me you would not be into this sorta look for your wagon

2013 E63 Estate
I’ve seen this done as a winter setup with 255/35 tires all the way around. It’s a compromise but works well in the snow.

2016 E63s Wagon - CCB & CF package
Why not buy a set you like on TireRack, with tires and all? You can probably get the package (mounted & balanced) for ~$1,500 delivered to your door.

Not to be a smart *** (but I guess I am) - but there is a long thread on snow tires, with all the correct dimension and samples of tires and wheels......

Thanks all! I thought the offset of the rear looked a little wonky. I'll check out the snow tire thread, thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Happy to be here on the forums, hopefully will be able to contribute over time here!
