Got rotors, pads and sensors for my front and rear today.....never knew they were so fawking heavy!! Got them from FCP Euro.

same here did FCP for rotors all 4 corners (brembo fronts and zimmerman rears - zero issues been excellent) and reminder lifetime warranty!!! will never pay for rotor parts again.

How are the brembo fronts noise wise ? not squeaking , but sometimes I found non oem drilled & slotted rotors can give off a wizz/whirring type noise at times.

zero issues so far from my experience.... i went with EBC red pads and they are amazing with the much lower brake dust, but they do have a very minor click sound for some reason when you go from reverse back into drive. it only happens when you go from R to D and doesnt affect any braking at all but you just hear this soft click noise for some reason. I emailed EBC about that and they said it was normal. its been 2 years and no problems at all

That's because they are a sliver too small, an the pads simply move back and forth a tiny amount when you go from drive to reverse. Normal and not something to worry about.
Did the EBC pads come with the balance weights (the silver circular things)?

Yes, EBC Redstuff pads come with the counter-weights. I can also confirm the front pads click from D to R. Rears do not click. Pads are supposed to float on the guide rods and in the brake caliper to clamp/disengage and/or to compensate for uneven rotor, heat expansion, wheel hub stresses.

28k on my 2018 e63s wagon and was told by my dealer I will need a new set of brakes soon (5mm left). Quoted $3637 for the front pair and $2732 for the rear. So happy I found this post!!

Damn, you must go fast a lot and brake like hell! And double damn on that quote! Even that seems high for a stealer! FCP might be a great way to go for parts, I just spent 1300 on front and rear rotors,pads and sensors

Did my HPDE last weekend and now the brakes are toast. Squeaking and bad vibration when trying to stop. Time to upgrade.
