Aside from your E63, what is the other beast in your stable?

2016 Lexus GSF. A different kind of fun. Normally aspirated V8, with a free revving and willing engine. Certainly not the bottom end grunt of the M157 though.

DAMN!!! i will ALWAYS be a Lexus fanboy...not matter how much they let me down. i had a couple of GS400 and an IS-F. thought seriously about the GS-F but just decided against it. great car and that 5L V8 just SCREAMS!!! great lineup!!!

Here's the "Big Three" of our other cars. The Volvo XC90 V8 is the current daily, the 730iL and S400 Hybrid are my old man's which we keep overseas. Neither one of them are really "beasts" per say, but they all have their own stories (the 730iL has the most interesting story of all).

I bought my E63 Waggy specifically so I could have fewer cars!

Sold the 1970 El Camino, 1949 ******, Land Rover Disco II, and 997 Carrera S.

My only other "beasts" are an F31 328xi Wagon my wife drives and a BMW i3.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! And in full disclosure, I sold the 2011 a few months back. But I thought this was a cool pic!

The 540 HP plate = ticket magnet??

I always wanted "155+" or "NO 55", or "FastWgn" and then realized I'd be much more likely to get pulled over for no reason.....

C,

You worry too much! LOL Nope. no such ticket issues in the 3 years I had her. I did get one ticket for 99 on the freeway cuz the cop gave me a break from the 107 he actually got me with on his LiDAR but it had nothing to do with the plate. It was that event that convinced me to install the ALP system on the next E63 which is now my current 2015. I think a plate like this would be more of a ticket magnet if it were on a Camaro or Mustang. Cops out here in Cali don't harass "luxury" cars the same as young guy fast cars.

I considered "Schlfr" for mine...short for Schlafer which is german for sleeper.

Somebody broadsided me in my GS400 fifteen years ago and I went on a search for one of the following, 3.5 coupe, 6.9 450SEL or 500E or E500. Daily drove it for almost two years.

2014 E63 Estate, 2008 S4 Avant, 2000 BMW Mcoupe, 1994 Audi S4

My 2000 M coupe with custom made 18" 3 piece super-star rims. Had it since 2006 when I had a car stolen while in Montreal. Treated myself to the MCoupe with the insurance $$.

the heart of the M - a twin-screw supercharger. Pulls like a V8 with over 400 hp and a linear torque "curve".

My other fast wagon - 2008 S4 Avant (MT)
