Stage 1, de-cat Eurocharged E63S

Like the title says, I am attaching time slips of 2016 E63S AMG 1/4 mile times.

Runs were done between comfort and S+ suspension, Traction control on, Transmission in S+ and brake boosting till 1.5K to 2K.

There was a 1/2 tank of 94 Petro most of the time. Near the end, we added around 6-7L of 110 to a 1/4 tank of 94 and it made no difference.

Tire pressure was dropped to 30 psi all around.

Did more than 20 runs.

I think times could be better had my brother, or I, known to turn traction control completely off and had less than 1/4 tank.

Next step is UPD intake. It made a big difference on my CLS. Adding 2+ mph over stock! Hopefully it'll add the same to a tuned car!

Thoughts anyone?

Ps. Car is 865.

Thanks for sharing and those are pretty awesome numbers in 11.2 range for stage 1. Did you replace the cat with DP? And what tires are you running? I am contemplating in wether to go stage 1 or 2. But like to stay out of any future issues since it’s my daily driver.

Good and consistent traps. 127mph is strong.

Its all about details when trying to get that lil extra trap speed or times. But in general, car is running strong. Should have given LC a try aswell for kicks.

Just took the cats off. No DP.

Tires are stock one that came with the car. Fronts are run flats.

Do stage 1 and de cat and call it a day. I have my stock plugs too.

Stage 2 means colder plugs and higher chances of tranny slipping.

Gonna add upd intake, lighter wheels and run on near empty tank and see how much of a difference it'll make. Upd made solid 2+ mph trap on my stock cls63

Haha no on the LC. Dunno if it'll make any difference tbh.

There was a glc63 EC tuned running 11.3 or even 11.2

It's 123 in the time slips.

What did you replace the cat with? I guess you can always gut it out.

Great runs! Was this a custom dyno tune or their off the shelf tune. I just tuned mine with the handheld programmer and the car feels great. Just wondering if I should expect similar results.

Thanks

I agree LC prob would have not made a difference but good to know if your brake tq'ing is doing better then the LC at the track or not. Excellent work!

They took out the ecu and did it. Not through hand held. I dunno if that makes any difference??

It was not a custom dyno tune. Just their regular stage 1 tune. Car did make 619 awhp and close to 700 awtq on the dyno.

No that doesnt make a difference. the only thing that makes a difference is if they do a custom dyno tune.

Thanks
