This is really aggravating. They charge about $3500 for this package, then design it in such a way that once it loses adhesion, it's almost impossible to get it back...
Is there a bulletin, etc, on this? Someone have a fix that really works? Mine is at the rear on the passenger side...
Thanks appreciate any help you can offer...

Have you considered marine epoxy?

Where? Underside of the carbon strip?
I would also think they might spider and shatter....Dealer says their preferred fix is super sticky double sided tape....but I'm a bit skeptical...

I have the same skirts and have not had or heard of that issue.
As mentioned above, try using 3m double sided, there are a lot of different types for the intended use.
Ive used them for rear lip spoilers and from lips on other vehicles and it works for years even after being driven 250kmph +

I dont recommend just using 3m tape, you want them to be secure, for the rear wing double side tape is fine but this is a much longer heavier part and I say use screws along with the double side tape for security.

Same thing happened to me with my wagon. Got it fixed under warranty. They use special tape but now we have a least two anecdotal events. My guess is the alternating heat and cold hurt the adhesion.

I had the exact same issue with the carbon fiber side skirts losing adhesion and falling off. The special tape you need to order and use is 3M Scotch 5952 VHB Tape 1” x 15 ft (Black). You can find it on Amazon for around $15/roll. I was initially concerned that the tape may not hold, but spent much time researching the issue to find the correct tape that would work. I decided to give it a try and do it myself as opposed to the bringing it to the dealer (especially since I don’t like others working on my car unless absolutely necessary - I hate being so OCD!). It is very easy to prep and apply tape on the backside of side skirt. I have had it applied for almost 2 years, and it has held strong with no failures. If you have the factory optional carbon fiber side skirts, the special tape is the proper solution (as opposed to using screws). Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Prep is key for 3M tape as well as mildly heating the surfaces a bit with a blow dryer always helped me with my lip spoilers.... 3M automotive tape
