nyshadow, i spoze i would heat the plastic and form it?

oldman interesting about the mounts. i have a set, but not installed yet. guess i need to fab shields. i dont think the int tubes will care, but no doubt a little extra heat in the air. Already a ton of heat from all the other tubes so im sure it wont make a difference. i always wondered if heat wrap is worth the trouble.

That is exactly why I didn't go down the line of putting the aftermarket motor mounts in again. Even had we put in Shields after a long drive say four or five hours and Florida heat they would have no other option but to be as hot as any other thing under the engine including the turbos or whatever else is down there unless we were also able to put some air vents on the bottom of the car to force air through. According to my Mercedes Master mechanics some of the cars used to have louvers under the car to move air up and through but those disappeared somewhere along the lines I cannot speak to the validity of his comments though.

place them back in the box and return them or trash them. Don’t mess with your car to make these work. Quality is crap, fitment is crap, the people that sell these are crap.
