Eurocharged Stage 2 Flex Fuel Tune - full E85 tune
Unless im totally missing something here you have an E85 tune. NOT a FLEX fuel system, they are 2 very different things.
Back to my question though... the TCU is the W212 achilles heal keeping us from truly maximizing the performance potential of the W212 AWD platform.
We are looking for TCU tune and hardware options that will elevate these cars into the low 10's.. a place we should be based on the power output of these cars. I'm 680AWHP/780AWTQ and the best my car can do is a best of 11.0 at 130. Big turbo guys are only see 10.7's etc. We chalk it up to the transmission. Do you have anything in the works for our platform that maybe can improve things for us. If you have further questions regarding the tune, reach out direct to Jerry at EC for clarification.

Am I being petty? Probably, but stuff like this pisses me off. Vendors who do nothing but want to sell you stuff without knowledge of the platform get zero business from me. If they can't answer simple questions pre-sale... imagine the support you'll get post-sale..
I think VRP had legitimate questions, even if they were somewhat responded to before. The threads are really long, so telling someone to read 150+ posts instead of responding, especially when that someone is one that you want to help the platform, isn't really helpful either.
I have read through both threads and still don't believe they are actually flex fuel tunes since there is no ethanol sensor. The best I can gather is it is somehow a dual-tune, where there is a fixed ethanol tune and a 93 octane tune wrapped in one ... and it switches between the two based on timing retard or lack thereof. Eurocharged has posted nothing one way or another, and their site doesn't say anything about an e85 tune for the m157.

Whether its a flex tune or a dual tune is open to interpretation I feel. I say Pa-tay-toe.
My Irish pride may have gotten the better of me, but in my defense, I did give then a week to respond further, to, as you say, help the platform

Regardless, more and more people are getting these tunes and seem willing to share their experiences in this thread, among others. I think we are have entered a new era of tuning here regarding the W212 platform and 722.9 transmission in general.

Silly argument to care about..
ts not flex fuel, There is no Flexing of any kind going on here. You're running fuel within a range of ethanol content that is deemed to be safe. You are not tuned for the change in content., Im not saying this is bad, Jerry knows what hes doing, but you are not identifying whats happening here properly and it is unintentionally misleading.
No we are not developing any tuning for 722.9, we dont do any tunes here, only hard goods, We third party tunes.
we are however making awd engine mounts for turbo back downpipes next if anyone cares about that.

I wish there was more direct involvement from vendors in these threads. Yes, I'm looking at the Eurocharged lurkers here, and there are many. They seem content to sit in the shadows letting the enthusiasts sell their product.
This is first and foremost a community of enthusiasts and one of the benefits of this forum is to educate. I don't profess to being an expert in this field... all I can do is report on my findings. If some of the base assumptions are incorrect, for that I apologize. It was never my intention to purposely mislead. It sure would be nice to have the more knowledgeable among us actively engaged in these threads, thereby educating us.
For what its worth, on my tune, I make 635 AWHP and 720 AWTQ on 93 octane gasoline, and 680 AWHP and 780 AWTQ when running a E50 blend. Max boost is 18 psi across the range. I've run different concentrations of ethanol, from straight 93, to E20, E40, even upwards of E60, settling on E50 as the safest concentration for max power. Call the tune what you will, but to my eyes, that's pretty flexible, if not in the purest sense of the definition.
Regarding your engine mount product. I'm sure there will be many interested parties. Thanks for supporting the brand. If and when I am in the market I'll be sure to give serious consideration to your product. Lord knows with all teh brake boosting we do with these cars, those mounts are most definitely a wear item... lol.

Good Evening wanted to post a quick update sorry for the delay but we were coming out of the 4th quarter work and I was tied up.
The flash was loaded today and all I can say is Bunkers!! This E50 tune (Jerry of course from EuroCharged TX and the one and only Brutus) is really shocking how fast it has turned the car into a real sports sedan. Wow I'm literally blown away at the responsiveness of the car it pulls like a freight train from dead stop to 130 plus.
Going on a few runs tonight. What is especially pleasing I'm only on E32 which amounts to 94/95 octane. I need to empty out the 1/2 tank left then its E50/E52 for 99/100 octane rating wow. I'm totally loving this tune, cant wait for the dyno runs which I'm setting up today as I just got the flash done. So I'll have direct comparison from stock until now, the HP tuners software is next before weeks end and hopefully dyno'd next week at the latest. The TCU Intervention is right around the corner and I think 5Soko and Brutus have found an alternative tuner in Germany.
Exciting times for both Full E85 and this E50 platform along with the data logging for illustration purposes.
The following is 0-60, 1/8th mile and 2-1/4 mile runs:
Completely stock except for secondary cat deletes and Renntech exhaust. Stock filters and plugs to boot.
0-60 run on E32
0-60 run on E32
1/8 mile run E32
1/8 Mile run E32
10.98 1/4 Mile run almost 130 Trap speed on E32
11.04 1/4 mile on E32 (94 octane) solid trap speed.
11.04 1/4 mile run 128 trap speed tires spun on shoulder. No excuses still a solid run
Top and bottom specs on this 10.98 run on E32
Once again great ingenuity or your part just glad I help can push this envelope

Hey Bud,
That is my intentions thanks for pointing out the slope dilemma didnt have to many choices. I will hunt for another flat surface tonight. I also need to incorporate the 60-130 runs those should be fun.

hell yea. Awesome work. The month just started add this to draggy you will be number one 💪🏼
