Hello, new member here. Also buying my first E63 AMG. I have two 2016's I'm looking at.
Looking for opinions on which companies have the upgrades I want for the car. I researched a little bit into Weistec and their 730 RWHP package. Thats my goal with the car.....700+ RWHP.
Any info you guys/gals can provide will be appreciated.
I have a Eurocharged Flexfuel tune the car made 725rwhp on E85!
725 RWHP....besides the tune......what parts upgrades did you need to do to get that power level? Turbos, DPs, exhaust, etc.....
I looked at the Erocharged website......I've never actually seen a website that bad.....LOL
I couldn't find any info except ECU upgrades for the 2016 E63 AMG......and they said to achieve those numbers you need all kinds of other mods. But I can't find those mods anywhere on their site.
I'm curious what total cost I would be looking art for approximately 725 RWHP.....?
I was considering the WEISTEC 1008 FWHP package, but there must be a cheaper way to get there than paying those ridiculous prices.

The car is stock apart from the tune to my belief.
It cost me $2500 for the tune as it's a complete ECU rewrite.
Yes the websites not great your best off phoning them, I dealt with Sean and Jerry at Houston.
There is a guy in Germany who is running 900+ with just downpipes, turbos and a re tune.

Oh yea, its impossible to make 725 RWHP with just an ECU tune for $2,500. Whoever had the car before you must have done turbos, exhaust, DPs and other items. I mean look what it takes to make 730 RWHP by Weistec....and this is starting with more factory power than your 2014 makes......
This is exactly where I want to be with my 2016 E63 AMG.....
I've had the car on the ramp it is stock turbos no DPS or exhaust. Go into the Eurocharged posts and you will see the Dyno numbers. Brutus is running a Eurocharged tune on a stock car and he's on a slightly different tune and made 680awhp. Mine is a Rwd model.
You can make that power from these stock motors with the right guy tuning it. That is Jerry @ Euro charged performance.
Like I said give him a call and he will tell you himself.
keep in mind it’s E85 not pump. Huge difference. Also what’s fwhp? You mean awhp?
fwhp is likely flywheel horsepower, aka engine horsepower or brake horsepower (bhp), instead of wheel horsepower

This kind of seems like a long "beta" period where @brutus_tx and the rest are the beta testers & Eurocharged is waiting to see what goes wrong before they consider rolling it out to the masses.

Thats whats I mean.....680 AWHP is approximately 800 FWHP (Flywheel) or BHP (Brake). Flywheel and Brake Horsepower are what the manufacturers advertise. So its an impossibility to get ONLY a tune on a 577 FWHP stock car, and jump to 800 FWHP. No ECU tune by itself can increase HP by 223 HP.
Cannot be done. The most you can get from an ECU tune by itself is 75-90 FWHP.
For that guy, or your car to make 800 FWHP, this is what Eurocharged says you need in ADDITION to their best ECU tune:
The Eurocharged rating for the ECU upgrade is 800HP and 1000LB-FT of torque. Hardware modifications are required to achieve this power level. You will be required to change spark plugs, turbos, and possibly add methanol (depends on fuel quality) and downpipes.
Basically all of the performance upgrades that anyone makes for MAX effort HP.
A stock 577 FWHP E63 would have about 670 FWHP after a Eurocharged tune. So about 570 RWHP.

Because I own an 850 RWHP car now, I'm not a beginner......I just don't know much about the MERCEDES. But I have talked with RennTech in West Palm, they are 30 minutes from my house. I have also talked with Weistec.
The reason I'm asking here on a Mercedes forum is because I keep hearing from people that there are many companies and tuners out there but nobody can point me to them or give me their names.
I do know a tune on a 577 FWHP E63 by itself cannot yield 800 FWHP..........thats just hilarious. And as I posted above....Eurocharged says the same thing as I'm saying on their website.
So I'm asking...and hoping to get some real, accurate info from members who may have done this.

he hasnt even gotten the E63 yet and wants to lecture folks about what can and cant be done on the engine via tuning. all because of the knowledge he gleaned modding a Pontiac? smh...

a turbocharged car can raise boost through the tune
raising timing is a huge power booster on these engines, which is what the e85 tunes are said to do

Lol I was just going to say that. Who the F calls its Fwhp? Crank Horsepower is either HP or BHP and to the wheels is WHP. And E85 will make any car more power. It's equivalent to 105 octane. Just need to make sure you are tuned for it, and your injectors and fuel pump can handle it.
I'm glad two other people have said it, it's just bhp not fwhp! My car is 725RWHP! And yes it's stock so you clearly have no idea. Call Eurocharged in Houston and speak to Sean. Don't bother in the website.
Here's my Dyno to prove it. I'll even put the car on the ramp and take photos of the stock downpipes just to prove it too!
