0-60 & 1/4mile times tonight EC Flex Fuel tune E85

So I decided to go out and have a play tonight on the Michelin PS2's I got on a set of rear wheels I got.

Here's the dragy runs, I'm seriously impressed considering this is a RWD car, the tyres grip good.

Tomorrow I am getting the Toyo R888R's mounted so I will probably go back out again tomorrow evening and see if I can improve on those times.

I can't seem to get near my 7.27 60-130 I done back in December. I'm guessing the warmer air is hurting performance?

Thanks for posting. I also run the PS2s and they were a good improvement in grip over the stock tires.

It would be nice to see a compilation of Dragy results from the same car & same mods, but with different DA, preferably on the same road (so same angle) but even if not. Not just your car, but others' too. People often just post their best Dragy results, and there's not really a good conversion factor yet as far as I know. There are various 1/4 mile DA adjustments on dragtimes, so maybe one of those works well ... we can find out if several people post results like this at different DAs.

What was your 60-130, btw with this DA? 7.7 or so?

That 11.3 at 128 was with a 2 second 60 ft! Get that launch down to a 1.7 60ft and you're 11.0 flat at 128. Not too bad for an otherwise stock car!

I was looking at your draggy runs you posted two days ago. A 3.5 0-60 is very respectable.

Congrats!

actually high 10s. Every .1 off the 60ft is .2 off the 1/4 mile.

I've just had my Toyo R888Rs put on and they hook good!! This is my 0-60 I've just tried out! I think there's room for improvement! I'm really happy considering this is a RWD car and now in the range of the AWD cars.

@billvp218 yes it was around 7.71 I think.

I was waiting to see someone post this. It's an urban legend, at least at these power levels. I've got a stack of time slips to prove it. .1 off the 60ft. is .1 off the e.t. in the 1/4.

@thabigo22 yes apart from some UDP air spacers.

We live in a small town in the bottom of a valley, at the top of the town on the way out there is a bypass with two roundabouts at either end. That is the flattest road around here, it's not straight for long but long enough to get a 1/4mile run in!

I don't even think the car is running at its full potential, I definitely think there's more left in the tank. I'd love to get on a prepped track but that's probably never going to happen unless I drive back to the UK.

I do have a race track near me that I'm going to speak to once all this madness is over.

Nice yea that makes sense, Perks of living in a small town lol. I'm 15 mins from Washington DC so risky for me unless head to one of the race tracks that are 1hr+ away but I believe most are closed now due to Covid 19. I need to do some more research on google street and find some more places to get some runs down . Here is a 0-60 pull I did the other day. Need to do another one without my 200lb friend

And the 8% slope I think that's hurting you the most, that's some serious hill. Try and find a flat piece of road and lose your 200lb mate lol. Your AWD you should be way down into the low 3s.

Here in France you'll be lucky to see the gendarme on a good day let alone now! The roads are dead which makes it safer for me doing this. Hardly any traffic on the roads apart from the odd truck.

Yea that's the plan, a friend said the same thing about the slope but i swear the road seemed flat lol. I will have to find a better spot. Yea giving all this epidemic the streets are pretty empty, I am loving it

Sebastian,

Do you have the base e63 or do you have an e63 S?

Did you ever get the TCU tune? If yes, any impact?

Awesome numbers for rwd. I have a 2014 non-s AWD. I will be talking with eurocharged next week.

Not sure when it will get done with all the covid issues.

But I also need to figure out if I should get a rear limited slip differential and the tcu tune.

Yes I'm really pleased with the numbers and times, I'm always wanting more though that's my problem.

I wasn't sure if I had a LSD or not but when I do a burnout I definitely leave two big black marks on the road so I'm guessing I've already got one.

I know the guys are working but mostly remotely. If you call ask for Sean @ EC Houston. (713) 462-1600
