722.9 TCU Tuning - US Tour - Coming very soon to a city near YOU :)

Finally!! 722.9 TCU Tuning is coming to the region near you! This is for ANY 722.9, Including Non-AMG cars, torque converter cars, and older models with a 722.9, including PFL W204 C63's. We can done custom TCU tuning as well, along with CLK Black Series trans software.

The Basics:
- This is not a "NEW" product, just newly available to the masses. It's been well proven and tested for many years.
- Designed to be safely within the safe hardware limits of the transmission
- No change to daily comfort
- Increases Line Pressure
- Increases Power Holding Capacity
- Increases Torque Limiters in All Gears
- Reduces Shift Times

The overall result of this is a better driving performance experience, as the ECU and TCU work in harmony to deliver the power you want, when you want it. The TCU tune works with any tuned, modified, or bone stock car (and it's a fantastic first mod). Your car will be quicker, more responsive, and much more enjoyable

So far we sessions set up in:

- Chicago,IL

- Costa Mesa, CA (SoCal)

- Burlingame, CA (Bay Area)

- Baltimore, MD

- Orlando, FL

- Cincinnati,OH

- Las Vegas, NV

- Seattle, WA

- Phoenix, AZ

- Omaha, NE

- Minneapolis, MN

- Detroit, MI

If you're located in the Northeast or Tri-State, message @5soko and he can get you squared away.

Go visit www.eurochargedatx.info to sign up for your region and put down your deposit!

Any questions at all can be posted here, or directed to me. You can also call the shop if you like - 512-777-2799.

Intro price for the TCU tune is $1,800 - NO other costs or fees involved. Deposit is $300 and is credited towards the cost . Once we've visited your region - the normal price kicks in.

Quick Note - Chicago, Burlingame, Baltimore, and Costa Mesa (SoCal) only need a few more cars each to set dates. So if you're close - let's get after it

Thanks!

Dave

It will be in Beltsville at ISP More using Baltimore as regional descriptor in this case.

Thanks!

Sorry if this has been answered before.

How does the program escape being modified or erased inadvertently by the dealer? I think someone used the term “invisible” so a tech cannot change adaptation values etc. and modify this tune? It’s permanent until the TCU is replaced?

It would obviously suck to make this investment only to have to wiped down the road when taking it in for service.

Thanks for making this available!

It can certainly be overwritten, but there would be no need to ever modify the trans software while in for service. It's important to just have the conversation with your service advisor to make the appropriate notes. At the end of the day, if you've come to an agreement, they will be liable for writing over your tune. Just takes a bit of communication to make sure it doesn't happen It is permanent, cannot bee seen by a tech, and only will change if it's overwritten.

Thanks!

Thanks Dave - what if there are updates such as recall or TSB to the TCU down the road, can we assume we would have to pay another $1800 to reflash? Or would there be some form of workout with prior customers? Can we get the tune done remotely at that point using our stored parameters? You probably can’t commit to anything at this point but if you can, that might put some concerns to rest and push more people off the fence to make this happen (including myself).

Thanks!

I will first say that TSB's for a software update in this trans won't really be a thing at thing point - it's just too old.... ***IF*** you for some reason get the TCU flashed over, the charge for a re-flash will be discounted - probably something $900, maybe less - but no more than that

Something remote may be an option down the road - just not at all recommended for a first flash as we really need to be there to drive the car and make certain the tune is exactly as it should be. After we get a solid tune on the car - it would be more feasible to do it remote for a re-flash. But let's not get overly concerned about that - we'll cross that bridge **IF** we come to it.

Thanks!

Dave

I'm signed up for the Burlingame, good to know we are only two people away.

I also want to get a stage one ECU tune done as well. Is it possible to have it done that day as well instead of sending my ECU to Texas?

Also if you flying out is money based maybe me getting the ECU as well can count as one more person :p

Any more openings for this one? Considering it. And if so, what's the price out the door?

You should stop in Atlanta during your tour.

Questions:
Does this also remove the downshift into 1st when slowing down before coming to a stop?
Does this tune affect all transmission modes or just S+ and M?
Does this tune affect traction control when in sport?

DM me some details about where you are and I'll see what's out there Have gotten quite a bit of interest out of Atlanta...

Answers:
- It's not going to affect the strategy of coasting/off-throttle downshifts, so quick answer to Q1 is "No".
- The tq limiter part of the tune is active in all modes, and shift strategy scales up, so there's still gonna be differentiation.
- It does not affect traction control, BUT it will affect traction

Thanks!

Thanks! Final question: Any idea of the impact on the already non-existent lifespan of the engine/trans mounts? LOL. Or have there not been enough cars with mileage on the TCU tune?

Get ECE Billet mounts and be done with it... That's all I have to say about that!
